The great Peter Cofield, this is the only jingle he actually sings in that I know of. he also wrote the classic Big Red commercials, kiss a little longer, Pepsi you got the right one, Gillette the best a man can get, and so many more great jingles. May he rest in peace.

The PIR music is almost the same today, but these early 70's episode have a great, jazzy beat with plenty of BIG, almost Herb Alpert brass. Almost as big as the outrageous hair dos!!! RIP: Bob Barker and Johnny Olsen

I loved it when Bob commented on that girl's skirt. It was around the 8 minute 30 second mark. This was back when a man could publicly be honest about an attractive women, and not get in any trouble. The times we live in now are terrible.

And don't any of you give me any of that jazz about "Bob was probably making her uncomfortable..." That's a load of BS...She couldn't wait to get on that stage and show that off, and play for a prize. Or else she wouldn't have worn it.

It's 50 years ago, so the 20-somethings in the audience would be only in their 70s now, so I think quite a few might still be around! Also Janice is still around.
