Fasten you're new cable.to the old cable at the handle bar end......use a tie wrap .and pull both through

HI Mate how did you get the switch gear apart to put the choke cable in? Mine has either been glued? I've undone the two screws holding the plate on the cable but still doesn't want to play, is there something else? Cheers

Hi Rick, I'm pretty sure it was just the two screws but it's possible there is a third one hidden somewhere. Sorry I can't be more help but it's a couple of years ago now and I don't have the bike anymore to check.
