DEFINITELY KEEP THE ARCH. AND INSTEAD OF BRINGING DOWN THE WALL OF THE SMALL DEN IN MASTER BEDROOM YOU CAN MAKE IT YOUR DREAM WALK IN CLOSET

Remove the wall as you enter to get your open planning concept. Add a kitchen island that can serve as your breakfast nook. That will elevate your house. And if you have no budget to change your flooring you can use SPC flooring wherein you can just put it on top of your existing tiles. Keep the arches but make it more rounded. Use the guest room as a play room so all of the toys will be here and not scattered around the house. As for the den at the master bedroom you can make it an aesthetic walk-in closet where you can film all your hauls. Hope it helps :)

That house has so much potential! I think y’all will do amazing things with it, I 100% remember growing up with arches and thinking I was in a whole new world once walking through so I think you should keep the arches and make it rounder, it’ll give the house a homey but polished look. I wanted to ask how strong of a matcha flavor are the packets your mentioned? I have a love hate relationship with matcha because some taste like grass while others stay good.

I know a plus of having laundry upstairs is that it’d be easier to put away due to it being on the same floor as y’all’s bedrooms. I hope everyone that makes good on the matcha deal enjoys! Unfortunately I’m allergic to it (odd I know lol) so I’ll be passing on that offer. I look forward all the house content upcoming!

That house has a lot of potential and it will look beautiful! Is there a garden?. I would keep the archs yo give the house more character. Also, maybe I missed it? But with two girls wouldnt you want to have a playroom?. I would use the guest bedroom downstairs and create a really nice play area (and have a guest room upstairs). I would save the money and leave the laundry where it is, and upstairs in that corner, just put a nice library and maybe a cosy chair with a nice light or a linen closet. I would keep the bathrooms for now but maybe just change the sinks? I think that would make a huge difference and also stick on tiles in the meantime on the floors can be a quick update too! Cant wait to see what you do with the space! X

Can't wait to see how you work your magic on this house! I think do the bathrooms first if you can, as you will feel so much better cleaning yourselves in it... something about a "dirty looking" bathroom makes me feel unclean despite me just having a shower. Also best to do the flooring first, do the stick on wood planks because it'll be hard to move stuff later on and it'll make cleaning so much easier. I think maybe round off the arches maybe? keep them but if they can be rounded it might look less square. Laundry room upstairs is definitely convenient but to me doesnt sound practical building wise? i'd be scared of a burst water pipe while im sleeping... lol

I think the big arches will add a lot of visual interest. The bathrooms can be done later, the floors and construction should take precedence. Gonna be fabulous!
