Can you please tell us if you have compared this tire to a "regular" all-season or an all-weather tire, like Geolandar CV 058 or Geolandar CV 4S? I would like to know how much are the all-season/weather tires better that the G015s in the wet/snow, if possible. Thanks!

this tread pattern is clearly way too old and clearly not optimised for the best traction compared to some of the newer all terrain tires out there or even the all weather G061. when are Yokohama going to release a new generation? The G061 is clearly a better tyre but it is not designed or sold to be an all terrain. There needs to be a new 3PMSF rated all terrain soon. it needs to be better than G015 in the snow and ice, with more (multidirectional) siping, without compromising wet performance, and be much quieter on the road. it is better to reduce the mileage of the tire rather than compromise the performance it should have. the slight extra expense to change tires more often is worth it for much better performance and safety.

well done for releasing the G061 but I should have said in my comment a year ago that we need the G061 in Australia! We got left off the list of countries for the release of this new tyre! :(

Saw them shortly before I bought my Micky Baja Boss ATs. Sure looks promising but I would hate to be the beta tester on them on my dime. The Baja Boss has been out for 2 or 3 years and has a thousand reviews to get a consistent pattern of praise or complaints. Maybe next time I'll try these Yokos.

great tyre , I've got them on my land cruiser , a little more noise than the x-at G016 i had on previous but it's more of a mud tyre pattern so that is to be expected. looking forward to seeing how they are in 6 months

I have these on my subaru forester wilderness. On road they're excellent, on gravel/dirt road they're really terrible. if I go above 50km per hour, the car will start sliding, around the corner it just goes into oversteer

Hm, I like this tire, but I want the tread depth of the LT, with the comfort of a C rated tire. I've got a Silverado 1500 and I'm adding about 500-600lbs of weight to the bed with a cap and camper setup from cross America trips. I want to get tons of miles out of them. Should I just get the E Rated tire or stick with the C rated?

Hello could you help me out? I purchased a set of yokohama geolander at go15 from my local Toyota dealership and had them install them and had alignment done. Only have 1k miles on them but around 15mph up to 20mph they drone some and have an almost out of balance sound. It goes away after passing 30mph and cannot hear any drone over 30mph either. Ive addressed toyota and they said the psi was a bit high from installation and reduced it to around 35psi each tire but still has some noise issue. Is this to be expected with only 1k miles on them? The firsy few days after installation there was no noise issue but after about a week it started up.

These are fine for dry conditions or mild mud but for situations where mud needs to be cleared to get out of slippery spots I don’t believe they will make the cut. Now the G003 is more a mud tire.

@@pauljoseph2400 only a week now. Little less wheel spin. My cheap Goodyear tires seemed to spin from every stop, especially in wet. These are better. Quieter. Nicer ride on my 15 XB. Only $479 installed for stock 16” at Discount Tire. Matched Amazon lowest price. Even included road hazard coverage. One shop wanted $650, another $700.

@@djkenny1202I paid like $483 out the door for these. These are my first replacement tires, the original set lasted 7 years/26,000 miles. I may never need to buy tires for it again. 😃

@@pauljoseph2400 mine were likely original. Bought with 31k a couple years ago. Now at 38k. They might have replaced them. Cheap Goodyear AS. GladI got these. Snow on way. Great cars!

@@djkenny1202 Yes, it's hard to find a roomy small wagon these days. I got mine at the end of the 2014 and it had a $2000 rebate so basically 17K for 70 cu ft of cargo space..same as RAV 4 for about 1/2 the price.

My kid has these on his car and they are better on dry roads for sure but can't compete with his old Blizzaks on ice and snow. To be fair I don't think these are meant to compete against Ice-X, Contact7, and WS90s. You really don't want to drive those tires in the summer but he has used the bluearth all summer and they have been fine. Not sure these are meant to be driven in the summer but they don't seem worse for the wear because of it.

Dig the tread profile. Watched these work on trail and they do a great job. But they need longer beefier sidewall lugs, the lugs do not come down the sidewall far enough to match the tread lug aggressiveness.
