It’s absolutely unnecessary to remove the ferrule if it’s not leaking. You leave the cap on the pipe and simply thread the other half of the valve onto the old cap. I’ve done this over a dozen times no leaks.

Those K60s are the best for clearing any drane. I used to think Spartan drain cleaning machines were the best until I started working for a company that used the K60s exclusively. Dont get me wrong, one has to be more careful when retrieving the cable, so they dont make a mess. But, they are so much more powerful. And, the cable is much more durable.

K60 best machine out there, most versatile. I literally sold my mainline drum snakes and only run a k60 for mainline. Sold the model 300 for 4k and glad I got rid of it.

I totally agree. Really the only times I can’t get something to drain is because of a collapse.

I like the M12 because it’s compact. It works up to 1-1/4” copper and 1” gas. But if you work on bigger size pipe then you’ll need the M18.
@Your_mom73614 күн бұрын
I really wish those worked better or Moen supported them better. I’ve removed more than installed. I saw another version that sat overtop a standard valve. I haven’t looked into it yet but looks promising at first glance.

I have seen all your videos and your content qualities are excellent but still it is not delivering the right audience due to SEO problems. Focusing on your SEO to get a big fanbase would be best. What to do if one needs to solder a tee but water keeps dripping out? And doesn't have propress
@KimberUs15 күн бұрын
Get a can of duster turn it upside down and spray the liquid on the pipe to freeze the water upstream from the joint then solder.
@ThatPlumberDude14 күн бұрын
Jet Swet tools are designed for that situation. Or you can shop vac out the water and then quickly solder the joint. Or you can loosen the meter nut, depending on where the drip is coming from.

How do u know how long the copper pipe should be when cutting it for the tub spout?
