I lived on Gibson drive 70 - 73 and it was quiet, but don't walk at 50 gray ave the white ppl were racist and could go past 58 Elmwood or Lindbergh Blvd so racist at that time. You are driving through there decades later so don't judge!

I lived over there in early 1970 s they were racist white peopke in those trashy houses they would pull the line off the trolley throw bottles. Then at night you had to be careful if you went past 58th Lindbergh blvd. Glad to see they fixed them up!

Nostalgia. I literally used to reside on Boone St. Rough neighborhood back then. 37:33 I legit walked those steps to the bus stop as a child. I remember “vials” and now that I’m grown, yeah those were crack vials. Definitely come a Long way… Thank you brother for posting this video.

I've been a resident of Fayetteville for 21 yrs. I've learned what makes Fayetteville dangerous is a place you think is safe can become dangerous in seconds. For example you can be at Cross Creek mall at 1pm in the afternoon and someone starts fighting or shooting. You can be in traffic, a beautiful day and out of nowhere a road rage incident happens. It's an unpredictable place. Any place in Fayetteville can become dangerous or unsafe. Most people living in Fayetteville are from out of state or other countries. So they think differently culture/environment wise and drive like their back home in another state or country. It's a recipe for disaster waiting to happen. No place is truly off limits or safe in Fayetteville, NC. Give me a thumbs up if you agree.

In the 1950s my family lived on Bryan Street. There was a corner store in the 7100 block called Carosellas. My brother took the trolley to Germantown HS.

I always heard those were kids killed in the project. Does anybody know the story on those kids on that mural? Real Atlanta remember this and know what I’m talking about 💯

You were close to my house on County (AR side) & 17th. I also used to live downtown, in the City Hall Lofts (Texas Blvd & Broad). Many of those buildings downtown are empty, but you're right - the AR side is improving. The police are not allowed to cross Stateline. You should've stopped at TLC (Dr. Pepper Mural) and had a burger! My grandchildren went to Fairview. Nice tour!! Thanks!

Again, my most recent compliments to Toon215 for a phenomenal "drive down" Spring Garden from Front on westward. Spring Garden is a primary East/West thoroughfare which cuts across what I call "upper Center City" through the regions of Callowhill and Franklintown where I typically park when I go into Center City Philly. Rest assured, viewers, this guy's got it covered in EVERY section. Spring Garden, Callowhill and Franklintown are residential enclaves bordering Central Philadelphia, and Toon215 vids are a great marketing tool for anyone looking to discover more of what this city brings to the working class community looking to be closer to their workplace. Again, thanks Toon215 for what you bring to the community and to our city. 👉👏👍
