Front and chew used to be a fender stamping for automobiles. Its foot print was the entire mall.

Most neighborhoods have way to many steps up to the house or apartment and not one of those properties has a ramp for when they become disabled. Most properties are owned but there’s no one living in them making it hard for renters to look for a place to live

Doesn’t look like a bad area but surprisingly still a lot of gun violence and other crime.

You could buy fur coats, pianos, diamonds on 5th street. There was a lumber yard at fisher st on 5th.

You had alot if immigrants in Olney like my parents from Ireland. Two Catholic Churchs or 3 if you count St. Ambrose. Oh and the largest catholic high school in the usa.

It would be nice to hear about some positive past events that took place in these neighborhoods for a change. All you talk about is who died here and who died there. How about shedding some positive light on Philadelphia for a change. The videos are good but you do nothing to change peoples negative perception of the city. It already has a unfairly bad enough reputation. How about informing viewers on some positive things they may not have known about each neighborhood so they understand Philly is not all bad. The city has too much of a rich history to just talk about the negatives... do some research and share more positive information we may not know about.

I've documented over 600+ tours in Philadelphia. Make sure to watch them all. There's plenty where I talk about the good things and people who come from these areas. I'm assuming you just found my channel and just began watching....As a lifelong resident of Philly and one who worked for a non profit organization for over 10 years. I spoke on behalf of Philly for many years. Even before the tours. I did over 365 daily blogs in 2018. Many of those talked about the positive. Even documentaries highlighting Phillys beauty... you can't just watch the several videos I shot 2 weeks ago in a 24 hour period and say all my videos shine a negative light. There's over 2000 videos on my channel. 🤣 you got a lot of digging to do. You can always use your cell phone and document videos the way you want on your channel. I encourage you to tell some positive stories.

Smh lol who cares to talk about a bunch of amish festivals from centuries ago??? None of that is relevant in Philly TODAY. And who cares what a bunch of ill informed people who only watch Kensington videos thinks of our city? Tourists love coming here and we could care less about the boring as towns haters live in 😂

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I no longer live in philly. The tours I did were possible because only 8 people helped me reach my gofund me goal. This fundraiser was active for one month before I went back to Philly. I announced it, reposted it and live streamed about it a few times in February. I gave people an opportunity to make a donation, and then I would do their request. The fundraiser is over. Sorry. Have a great day. gofund.me/49a4245e
