I never knew that lead knife existed! We were taught to cut with pliers which I knew it was not done well. Where May I find this knife you are using?

Great, but your camera hides the top section as you work, it can’t be seen. This is the best instructional video I have seen, and I have watched hundreds. Ty so much.

You should bend the lead back with an oyster knife before you remove the glass and you shouldn’t take two pieces out side by side ,you should do them individually

This was a very helpful video. I have experience making glass projects with the copper foil method, but had not tried a lead came project. After watching this I feel like it will better suit a couple of projects I have in mind. This showed quite a bit of useful technique information in a short time. Thanks.

I have a question? You don't grind your glass before applying foil??? Looking your videos and I don't see you once , grinding edges???
@itsmypukapuka4710
@itsmypukapuka4710 Жыл бұрын
The methods on this differ. Some grinds the edges, some don't. It is not really necessary as long as you have a clean, flat surface. The foil can stick to that. If your cut is rugged, you have to grind to make it more suitable for the foiling. So the historical triple question marks are totally unnecessary.
