Man you would need some pretty scandalous blackmail material to get me anywhere near doing something like this on national TV for everyone to see. The cringe factor alone would make it impossible to do. No amount of money would be enough. There were other shows like this at the time but their popularity was declining. Cops shows were taking over. This show was one of the final nails for the genre.

So Robert Reed didn’t want to do The Brady Bunch but he was on board with this crap? Really? His more “flamboyant” side getting out? Lol.

I thought the disco era was the most embarrassing time for America but the current woke shit makes disco look logical by comparison.

Barry went on and did musicals. I saw him in “City of Angels” and he was truly wonderful.

I was a small child when this came on so I don't really remember it, but I do remember the ridiculous, colorful campiness of the 70s. It was so bad it was good, so stupid it was smart., and so silly you had to take it seriously. Everyone was on LSD and nobody meant any harm anyway, so it's okay now to look back at it fondly. But just say no to drugs, kids. We can't do this again.

If the Brady's would have waited to do their variety show in the early to mid 1980s, they would have performed New Wave hits like "867-5309", "Don't You Want Me", "Mexican Radio", "Whip It", "I Ran So Far Away" etc. as their Medley lol. I would have paid to see that happen!! 😄
