He is so right about the documentation: my husband had to get a new passport with his complete name to match his birth certificate. They will not accept any statement testifying that the person says they are who they say they are. You must have the bc match the passport. Otherwise it's pretty easy, and the country is lovely.

10% on corporate income, plus 8% on dividends if you are resident in Paraguay which translates to 17.2% overall, if you are resident outside of Paraguay you will be paying 15% withholding on dividends.
