the rather poorly staged beginning prevented me from watching the video to the end. the feigned 'upset' of the interviewee, who yet employs standardized vegan jargon, only added to the otherwise fragile believability of the whole thing. I think that this type of approach only brings negative consequences for the further spreading of the vegan ideology and actually represents a step back.

I feel frustrated when I see people who don't want to admit the truth. But I have to think about myself when I wasn't vegan or anti-speciesist, many people react better to the idea than I did in the past, and look at me now. Understanding the problem was a complete moral and intellectual breakdown for me, since then I question myself a lot more. Sometimes I think "if I've been wrong for so many years about something so important and dramatic, I can be wrong about many other things that I'm not even aware of", it was a complete awakening, of which I'm very proud and happy. That's why I tend to calm down and think about being a little more empathetic with these people. If the individual ends up understanding and changing, they will, it's just a matter of educating themselves with solid arguments, logic and time. Great work as always Cip, it's a pleasure to see and hear you doing activism for animals.
