That’s true. I think that discipline is required to get rid of the habit maybe. I, myself, didn’t really feel it was needed. But, I’m generally a disciplined person, so I assume if people say it’s needed, maybe it is 🤷‍♂️

You’re right because I became vegan as a child.I just stopped, then & there, as soon as I realized who I was eating.I was disgusted! I remember eating only peanut butter sandwiches for a whole week! I still love peanut butter to this day! You think I would not - but I do!

If you are against abusing animals you must be vegan ! Either you are an animal animal abuser or you are not. If you are not vegan you are an animal abuser ! Excellent vegan outreach, nothing more could have been said, it takes empathy, integrity, compassion and courage to go vegan,most people are too selfish. I hope they align their actions with their morals and choose to live a non violent life.

Yes, but your statement wouldn’t help people lower their defences and go vegan. Remember, most vegans went through that phase themselves. Maybe even you did. A little compassion goes a long way.

Thank you, Jirad! The minute you learn about the practices in animal ag and the fact that it's not needed it becomes a moral obligation to not participate in any of it. And then you realise that we don't need animals at all and that we should just leave them alone. 🤗💚

@@CaroAbebe I went vegan the minute I heard about the horrific animal abuse. We are haunted by what humans do to animals but are equally haunted by how unhaunted others are. If you were the victim, if you were being abused what would you want your oppressor to do,take their time and think about abusing you,cut back on the abuse, just abuse you occasionally when they felt like it or stop immediately ? It is not about being vegan it is about who you are, are you a compassionate person, are you kind, do you have integrity, who are you , what's in your heart, it is about your character, you are either for abusing animals or you are not. The animals need us,they need us NOW ! Not when it suits you. It is very simple, if you are against torturing, abusing murdering animals you must be vegan !

@@CaroAbebe yes, a little compassion goes a long way, how long do you think someone should think about not abusing animals, think about not participating in the horrific cruelty, think about not causing the violent deaths of animals that don't want to die, how long ? When one knows about the Animal Holocaust and continues to participate in it ,what does that say about you ? One is either for or against abusing animals, you are either an animal abuser or you are not, it is that simple.

Rafaella's activism (aka Militant Vegan) in Germany is actually helping a lot (even though this couple doesn't realise it). Raffaella has created the bad cop, good cop situation, and it works synergistically. It's also similar to the 'Overton window'. We need loud bad cops, and polite good cops like Cip.

I really love what you asked at the beginning of this conversation about consent, especially about the mentally challenged, for example those that cannot speak up for themselves. Isn’t it our obligation, personal & societal, to look after those that cannot really care for themselves or speak out for themselves? Instead we are annually breeding billions upon billions of the most innocent of beings & just taking complete advantage of them! & the fact that they are so innocent & cannot speak up for themselves! Society actually uses thier innocence & thier mental challenges as an excuse to keep doing so!

It seems like they were already primed (thank you Raffaele?) and just need one or two pushes from people like you to help them align their actions with their beliefs. I loved their honesty and lack of defensiveness. I think they and you were in the right place at the right time.

That was faultless activism, I understand what they said about the Militant Vegan, I unsubscribed from her channel cos of her shouting ‘’animal abuser’’ or ’’rapist’’ at people, as I think she is doing more harm than good for the movement!. I have seen this same behaviour with other German ARA, they can be more confrontational. ✊🏽🌻🌎

I disagree with respect. Cip was correct to say that he admires the Militant Vegan. She is the bad cop. Cip is the good cop. They work synergistically. Also look up the 'Overton Window'. We need both approaches. And polite outreach doesn't reach nearly as many people because ppl like drama, so it's a numbers game too.

I think that both approaches are very useful for the movement. Some people at some point in their "journey towards veganism" need a soft approach, some need a hard approach. Hard to say which one is better without empirical evidence. I do what I think works for how I am. I'm sure she does the same

Very Nice Talk. I think when explaining the practices of These Industries you should ask more questions, especially when Talking to people from other countries(Not 100% capable in understanding English). Something Like „why do cows produce milk“, „how does the cow get pregnant“, „What do you think happens to the babys“ etc.
