Hey man, Nice job. You make it look easy but since I was paying a guy to help me work on the rear suspension of my Z3, I let him do that for me. Today, I rebuilt my inner cv joints and noticed that the right outputshaft came out as I tightening the cv joint to it. Can I hammer it in myself to make sure it locks in place?

Off to buy one on Tuesday. Glad I watched this as now I have to hope that a previous owner had a hardtop fitted at some point and left the mounting anchors in, because if not I'm going to have to take a couple rolls of duct tape with me ! 😅😂😂😂

is there a way to get a hardtop instead of a soft top? As in a hardtop that automatically removes itself like the current soft top does?

I have just done this on my 2004 e87 2.47 ratio diff and now I have reinstalled it in the car drove for a few day and now making a very loud pinging noise every time I touch the throttle or come off the clutch had a look underneath while someone applied load on the clutch and the ping noise looks like it’s coming from where the prop shaft attaches to the diff any ideas?

I can't find anyone to do an engine swap to my 2005, 325i, wagon, SULEV. Won't pass smog in CA. Currently, the diagnosis is something to do with SULEV's bad, sealed, gas tank design. the pump or sender is inside the tank and the only remedy, is to replace the entire tank. Repair, I was told is not an option. The local BMW dealer and 2 reputable shops, game me an estimate of $13,000! PLus labor (Dealer labor here is $400/hr.) I love the car, I live on social security and csn't afford to buy a car. I thought maybe I can find someone who has the knowledge and time, a fan of bimmers, to swap for a 330i or whatever works. Problem is , I can't find anyone in my area. Any advice, maybe someone watching your channel? I'd rather borrow some money for an engine replacement entirely than just a gas tank or , a new very expensive car, Any recommendations? Thank You

My front diff is leaking. I’m pretty sure it’s the output shaft seal. Should I also replace the input shaft seal while everything is apart?

After you break the bolts on the driveshaft, do you put it back In neutral? Got an early model e30 gonna have to do the dumbass swap from late model since early has the plate shifter
