I have one of these, but I can't figure out how to get a constant volume level across all of my patches. I always have some patches that are a lot quieter than others. What am I doing wrong? I hate to have to sell this thing but at the moment it's not on my board at all until I can figure this out.

My first good bass was a Yamaha BB300. It was simple but great sounding and far superior quality from my student bass. I was so motivated to have a great bass that I felt that I did progressed a lot on it.

I am wanting to practise keyboard to eventually learn to play piano I played keyboard in high school and kinda remember a few songs already for me a keyboard will be perfect to learn with I only have a small apartment and it wouldn't fit a full sized piano at least with a keyboard i can mount it onto a foldable stand and it can all be packed away nicely afterwards 😀 piano will only be for if I go to places such as church or some train stations etc have them which we can play ▶️. But I think I will practise on keyboard for a few years first 😀. Im very very very rusty . I remember my music teacher saying something to me about the main difference is the keys and the pedal on a piano ! A keyboard can have various amounts of keys they can also have the same amount of keys of a piano! The main difference really is the pedal on the piano in my opinion. I could use both piano and keyboard in high school using the same keys and it would sound similar but I found that when playing classical the school halls piano would sound better! So I do think if your more of a classical music player then a piano would be better for that ! But then I've not played in over 15 years lol 😆 😂. So I wouldnt know have a lot to learn and catch up with im ordering a yamaha keyboard 😅 very good reviews and its what I played on in high school for me to begin with I will use the abcd etc key stickers or color tabs to make things more easier and simpler until I learn the keys by heart ❤ 😊

This is all nonsense. You can easily buy a digital piano that cost far more than most acoustic pianos (especially Chinese made uprights). Also, my stage piano has 3 continuous damping pedals.

I understand completely how this may seem like a limitation and we all want everything to have the entire kitchen sink of what seems like what should be obvious inclusion in functionality - I just want to point out that the deep continuous control options CC of this combined with an expression pedal and FS7 is absolutely limitless within ONE PATCH / for example one footswitch can change multiple functions on/off and levels of parameters on top of which in my deep dive series I explain how to use one button on 1/2/3/4 or FS7 to swap the fx type within any or ALL fx1/fx2/mod1/mod2 AND reverb and delay = therefore having 12 available unique fx in a single Patch (or scene in this instance) … if you need more than that within one song before needing to change a patch that would be extremely unusual, yes it does require a knowledge of programming the unit and is best done with the software for PC/MAC - you are only limited by the # of CC slots which is MANY. I hope this helps- check out my deep dive series if you own or want to own a ms-3. DEEP DIVE video series for the BOSS MS-3 including getting extra FX within one patch, and striving for strymon (big verb patch). The GREATEST improvement of this series of Yamaha BB basses is the fact that you can now install aftermarket pickups. The major achilles heel of all BB basses was that Yamaha designed their pickups with their stock design-only components that never allowed you to swap out the pickups with aftermarket upgrades without making some drastic alteration to the pickup cavity on the body...The pre-amp still needs work, but it's tolerable.
