i have one of these, but i was always only using it with a dynamic microphone, since it only has 24V phantom power that you cant turn off, is it fine to use it with mics that need 48V phantom power?
@SKYJORDXN11 сағат бұрын
Yeah, I’m running this into an Apollo twin with the 48v phantom power on
@obanoodlegod690110 сағат бұрын
@@SKYJORDXN wait.. but doesnt that potentially damage the pedal then? The phantom power won't reach the microphone and the pedal has 24V built in
@SKYJORDXN10 сағат бұрын
@obanoodlegod6901 no, the input on my twin isn’t even active. The mic gain powers the mic
@Swissco966510 сағат бұрын
@@obanoodlegod6901 not to answer for @SKYJORDAN, but we use so many things that THEY say are not interchangeable in these 2024 LABS errday.... But to your point , the textbook answer is from the Copilot If the microphone requires phantom power (typically 48V), connecting it through a pedal with built-in 24V power could indeed cause issues. Phantom power is essential for condenser microphones, and using a pedal with a different voltage might lead to improper operation or damage. To avoid any problems, it’s best to connect the microphone directly to a compatible preamp or audio interface that provides the correct phantom power. 🎤🔌 ill buy one , and bang out as many joints as I could until it breaks, nothing lasts forever and youll never get the most you can out of these machines never as a real artist that owns they're own studio with creative control to do with what ever they want to do with it, we luv dis SHYT its our Therapy we'll never see a hospital for being crazy, when we got some tools and a booth.
