Nostalgia from the early 1990s, then the great XCOM appeared in my life:Enemy Unknown, and I forgot about the mechs. And again, I started playing mechs only three years ago when I downloaded MWO :) Interestingly, the speed of the game depends on the processor frequency. I was playing on 386 and the speed was slow, but my uncle's pentium II was playing very fast. About 10 years ago I tried to set up a DOS emulator, DOSBOX like, in this emulator it was possible to simulate different frequencies, I still did not understand what game speed the developers of this game intended.

Your HERC/loadout combo is still one of my favorites to use this day. It makes quick work of Cybrids early and mid-game.

Ah back in the day when i was a kid, in my Kindergarten class room they had the old Macintosh two in one desktop computers with this game installed, all i ever looked forward to was playing this game and enabling all of the disasters at once on every city.

I play on Easy and find it difficult, and here you kick ass on Hard. You got any good tips for me on how to raise the incom? RCI ratio? Small tip for the lunar mission: If you avoid the turrets and don't destroy them, they will become yours after uploading the virus, and will help you defend the base in one of the later missions.
