If you look at the 1990-91 nhl topps vs o-pee-chee you will see a horrible topps difference on the back. OPC is a nice back and topps is brown cardboard.

As a UK collector of T206 cards I find it rather bazaar that your explanation of T206 starts by explaining that the T stands for tobacco. That is totally incorrect.

Not nearly as controversial as Gambits 1st appearance. Basically its X-Men annual 14 but the market wont accept it because they have all piled into X-MEN #266. To further muddy the waters CGC have been labeling #266 wrongly for so many years they can't walk it back.

Card is a little overrated IMO. His Bowman card is just as iconic - maybe even more so.

Cetering is actually the least important factor on cards with known centering issues on all but highest grades. When people buy low to mid grades of this card, they are far more concerned about surface and edges than centering in my experience. You will see BGS 7's to 8.5s with widely ranging surface and edge subs, with every one of them have low centering subs. Most collectors I've talked to would take the 7.5 with low centering and high others above a BGS 8 with 8 subs across the board including centering. That especially applies when considering how PSA grades centering now that they are grading them again.
