Thanks for explaining the differences and showing how the chairs are going through the test of time. I'm currently looking into buying the Freestyle Rocker XL and I am wondering if it would fit me. I'm 5'9'' and about 260 pounds. Would the seat of the Freestyle be too high for me? I also kind of like to lean back on it a bit, not necessarily sit totally straight, do you think this is a good match for me? The other ones I am afraid they will break because of my weight. Appreciate your feedback! Thanks!

Thanks for the Video. I paired this with my Lodge Pro Sportsman and they team up pretty well for all around use. Not the greatest at one thing but it keeps my camp equipment to a minimum.

HA HA HA I love bags. We have 6 camp chairs bought over 25 years ago. All had bags and they still have their bags plus the little dual purpose side tables or foot stools also had their bags. These were not tiny seats like a lot of the cheap versions you find these days. We gifted at the same time 4 plus foot stools to a sister in law. Hers are still going strong too. So yes bags are lovely you can keep them clean and we have no issues in putting the chairs in or pulling out of the bags. I just bought the free style rocker on sale on QVC if you call that sale. They also charge 7.50 in shipping so not a great deal. Anyway I may make a bag myself. We live in NW MT and so these chairs are not used year round. So these are stored during cold months and that's where the bags keeping them clean when stored in garages etc. are super nice to have. So for those who like you might be throwing your chairs around in and out of campers maybe you would get tired of messing with that bag. But I'm not. And I just bought my very first RV a 22 year old Class B+ only 21' total no outside storage and little interior. I'm going to want to carry 2 of the 25 year old chairs along & probably not too often take the Freestyle we just ordered. I usually am a solo female tent camper over the past 50+ years. Hubby of 52 years is not a camper. WHAT how did that happen when he married me I had a tent set up all season up Hyalite Canyon out of Bozeman MT where I went to MSU year round. And we met caving? He's been fine with my occasional she trips and I'm grateful he loves staying home to garden and take care of the pets. How lucky can a gal be? Anyway I'm definitely a bag lady and that will include trying RV camping for the first time this year. Plan a cross country trip to feel how this old gal drives. If she's good I'm making plans for a trip to the San Juan Islands later in the summer and Alaska one way with a ferry back down next year. So my hubby and some old caving and college friends are also interested in my driving up and making arrangements for all then all three will fly in later to join. Yeah...lucky I love the camp life. And I get a kick out of everyone's individual personality reaction to camping let alone roughing it. I've managed to get the tent life down to an art but not sure about my Miss Mini Mo I think it'll take me a few attempts to nail it. I may bring a tent along just in case I miss that open feeling. PS I just cringe at your throwing your chairs around like that. I don't approve in working so hard to be so abusive to your things. I know you did it for show...but...not a fan.

PS 4 of our 25 year old camp chairs are almost like new. Two I left out side over a year on an upstairs balcony when we moved here to discover the sun and weather faded the upper more exposed material. However except for that little bit of fading they too are pretty much like new in wear. They get good use in group events like Ham Radio meetings and their camp outs. But not one of their mostly men or women abuse their own gear or ours. Nor do any of our over 50 year old and younger caving community & friends ever abuse equipment over the years. Amazing but if you were a climber or caver this strange abuse towards your gear or belongings might not be tolerated or at least the more outspoken folk would comment about it. I would think hard before lending you anything I cared about and if I still did I would not expect it to return as nice as it was before you borrowed it. The saying never a lender nor a borrower be would be sage advice around you.

In your opinion what’s the best? I don’t have any camping chair so just a all rounder, will probably keep it as a spare guest chair and for events/trips I just now realized the irony of my profile pic and the video lmaooo😂

Can't believe you just thro them around. Are you thst way with everything you have? Sheese your like a little kid throwing stuff around .i. find them pricy for a rocker.iv had bag chairs to last along time at a 1/3 rd of the price because i don't thro them around. You don't seem to care. Oh well to each there own.

Old, slow brain here! I have a new Cook-it-all that I haven't used yet...soon to be remedied. But in looking at your metal coal cooking stand, it dawned on me that the old bbq I was going to scrap, with a little cutting here and there would make a great dutch oven stand for the outdoor kitchen. Reused, repurpose, save $$... Really enjoyed the video. That c-i-all is perfect for great stews and lots of other uses. A nice addition.

@hairry7899

Tough call. Assuming you don't have any traditional Dutch Ovens, I would probably start with the 6qt Dutch oven first so you can become familiar with Dutch oven cooking. I would purchase the Cook-it-all next because of how versatile it is. Hope this helps!

Great review you can never go wrong with lodge cast-iron, and if you do wanna perfect all you need to do is take an orbital sander and sand out their seasoning, then simply re-season much better nonstick, like your grandmothers used to be, FYI on your forest river RV one of the close-up pictures while you’re cooking. It looks like those China bomb tires need to be replaced.

Been looking at the Cook It All for awhile, haven't got one yet, just wish it had more of a dome to it to use as a Peka Sac oven. Please don't use metal utensils in your cast iron, buy some wood, bamboo or cheap heat resistant synthetic utensils.

Using that same charcoal, chimney. Crumple up two or three sheets of newspaper depending on their size. Put it under the charcoal, chimney, and light it. It will quickly start the fire without any lighter fluid.
