I've been waiting forever for this 2.0 version. Think I'm finally gonna pull the trigger. Want the belt drive, but I don't think it's worth the $100 difference. I think the sweet spot would have been $50 more and also include more colors.

Ryan, I whole-heartily agree with you concerning Belt Drive (no maintenance, plus save $100 a year on derailleur tune-up.) My concern is with Single-Speed. I understand the challenges of hills, but I get confused with cadence. I have a 2020 Specialized Turbo Como. It has a mid-drive, derailleur and, I believe, torque sensor. I like my cadence at 60rpm (Male, age 61, 200+). For the most part, regardless of hills or wind, I can achieve it with Pedal Assist (PA) and gears. But the Lectric XP Lite 2.0 doesn’t have a mid-drive, derailleur or torque sensor; just PA. So, is my cadence going to be all over the place? For instance, would it be over 80 just trying to maintain 15mph on level ground? I think it would be an insightful video to go more in-depth with the challenges of Single-Speed; especially with Cadence, MPH, Hills and PA.

Does this bike use the older XP Long range batteries? I would love to reuse my batter from my Lectric Xp

Am I doing something wrong? I just went on the website. I was going to order the black one the John Wick version with the belt Drive some reason it’s coming up 999. It’s not taking off. It says it takes off to $100 coupon but it still says 999. ???

The belt drive model needs to come in additional colors as well. This might be the perfect bike for us older rv travelers who want to throw 2 e-bikes in the rv garage but my wife would never want a black bike.

Thanks for the review, especially posting the effects of the P settings on how the bike delivers power or speed. Seems they now let the reader decide on the style of power management, either levels set power to the motor or et speed targets, with the throttle tied into those or not. That’s good as it should satisfy a broader population of riders.

What about installing a suspension seat post to get a bit more leg extension as they tend to add a bit more length?

USB , who used usb any more ? Everything put out today should be USB-C . After all , this is 2024 . Around 25nm of torque is insanely low .

Gained a bigger battery while at the same time, somehow, lost some of its original charming looks. Looks way more generic now. Not sure what that's about. Used to actually look cool lol. But maybe a heat gun sticker removal is all I might need to fix that issue? I do love the color screen. Even though they're actually pretty late to the party on that one. But I can't even fathom why they haven't added a simple break light function to the rear light. That's a pretty important feature for anyone riding in any streets and especially at night. Seems like they're most recent styling for all of their latest generation of bikes are like, for some really old english dude that wears a golf outfit and smokes a pipe with a smoking jacket hahaha. Like Mary Poppins era or something like that. I prefer the xp 2.0/ xp lite generation as far as the looks and style goes. Felt more young and hip, and most importantly, FUN!! Seems like maybe they're trying to appeal to a more sophisticated crowd?? I dunno... My biggest wonder/issue is that Other companies have since copied their xp lite designa and have actually improved upon it much better than this offering imo. Bigger motor, an actual working break light, and a great color screen/bigger battery to name a few. So For $1099 I can get a 14ah gates belt 300watt bike. Or closer to 6 and 700 I can get a 350-750 watt motor with a 10 -12ah battery that also looks better than either version. Gotrax comes immediately to mind. Also, Jasion has a full suspension bike that can reach up to 28mph, that is dang near the same size, and also comes with racks and fenders for like 700?? So needless to say, this one isn't by any means a must buy or gotta have it.

I am debating between the Prodigy XC and the Aventon Ramblas. Price difference aside, which of the two do you prefer? Watching your reviews, it sure seems the Prodigy(Brose) motor is much quieter than Aventon’s motor. I also like the Prodigy power cutoff when shifting. I ride a fair bit and am used to pedaling when shifting and, although the Ramblas drivetrain is pretty robust, I can see it getting excessively stressed when changing gears going up hard grades. My use for the bike would be a ln all-around bike; it would replace my Nukeproof Scout hardtail and my Cannondale Bad Boy hybrid bikes. Gravel, light trails and XC, and commuting and around town recreating. Thanks so much and thank for all the awesome videos you put together.

Poor suspension, typical noisy Lectric brakes, if pinion gearing set on automatic…not sure the advantage, and weak standard battery and then charge extra for a still small battery. Overpriced. I bought another brand ebike with four shocks, 27 mph throttle only, 20x4 tires, electric horn, 30 amp 48 v Samsung battery with upto 100 mile range, quiet brakes…all for $899 on sale.

How do you rate this vs. the Aventon Abound and the Globe Haul LT?

Sorry if these are dumb questions but can the seat post be easily removed and replaced with a suspension seat post? Does Lectric sell a saddle with spring with this model? If we add the suspension seat post with spring saddle for other Lectric models does Lectric install those upgrades for us?
