when you're growing up and all that, you do what your parents expect you too do. Brush you teeth, clean your room, attend AND pay attention in school, take out the garbage, etc, etc, etc.... ONCE you finish school, that expectation becomes YOUR expectation of yourself. What do YOU expect from yourself. Expecting something from someone else no longer applies. You expect your parents to furnish that garbage can for you to fill, that toothbrush you use, the room you live in, the food you eat. That is the responsibility of a parent otherwise they should not be a parent. Adults know what to expect from themselves and they just do it. I expect my happy ass to get up to go to work, I expect myself to pay my bills, I expect myself to have a job, car, home and the responsibility of caring for it.... I expect no one else to do that for me. It's that pass over from childhood into adulthood. Those that have no expectations of themselves, will, never, ever, get a damn place as you can not learn responsibility without expectation of one's self. Expectation becomes responsibility. Was a tad concerned about you as you hadn't posted anything... glad all is well and hope you are enjoying your summer.
