You Are my all time favourite fighter figure Sir. I'm an Asian guy. But no one can replace you forever in my heart 🙏 Love you MIKE. I like everything about you. I'm training my Son Boxing just because you inspired me to. One day he'll be a warrior like you who would walk alone in the streets and fear nothing. I'll make him a champion like you Sir 🙏

Mike Tyson is the only person who could wear a shirt with his own face and name on it and have it seem completely normal.
@jaydebeer725118 күн бұрын
I ask this because from what I have seen documented Teddy Atlas desperately tried to instill morals and the difference between right and wrong into a young Tyson. Where-as Cus turned a blind eye to all his wrong doings as long as was winning fights. This is a definite recipe for disaster and contrary to popular belief, I think if Cus lived longer Tyson may of burnt out sooner. The fact that Tyson took no ownership of his actions in his formative years is clearly where the mental weakness in the ring was borne from. Could it well be that Cus ruined Tysons chance of being even better?

In order for someone To be better than Tyson in his prime then you would need another duo like cus and Tyson and this day and age it would not happen and be the same outcome , back then it was different all around

Feels like yesterday he was KOing Wineland. People didn’t know his name like they do now; hadn’t been tested yet. Around the Paiva fight is when he really started getting more traction. The braindead, mouth-breathing, incels, that know absolutely nothing about fighting, aka your dad, the casuals, would say that they were feeding him “cans”. They weren’t cans. O’Malley is just so good that he made them look like that. Straight mopping fools left and right. Now he’s the champ with a defense against the only person to beat him. I feel like it’s all happened so fast that it’s hard to process the history that we’re witnessing.

Today is the first day I’ve worked out on my own. Since I collapsed in May 2023 playing football and I got diagnosed with (FND) (disability) after countless weeks spent in hospital and test all over my body head, heart, lungs, blood. Scan after scan. And they also found a bleed on my brain with a small tumour. I was in shit place mentally and emotionally and physically it’s been such a long hard road. Sport was my life always has been. Football & boxing has played a huge part in my life. I’ve been athlete since I was a young lad, in a million years I never thought this could happen to me as I’ve always been healthy no drink, smoking or drugs ever. This all happened when I was 25 and now it’s just been my 26 birthday and I’ve done my first workout since all this darkness. And Tyson has been an inspiration to myself especially when his Netflix series came out!. But if anyone out there is struggling you can do it.

Cus was touched by God to see the greatness in Mike Tyson even at a time when it wouldn’t have been visible. Cus also was the one who encouraged and introduced Mike to that squatting/winding style which seems strange when Cus did it but obviously devastating and one of the craziest styles ever when passed to Mike. Legendary stuff.
