Soooo now that 15k-20k£ has been poured on this engine and a few years have past, can we get a reliability report ? I'm genuinely curious to know if you can make a THP / N14-N18 reliable at all and what does it takes.

I've got a 2016 Peugeot 308 GTI (by Peugeot Sport) which are 270bhp from factory. They also use a version of the Prince 1.6L N18 engine (PSA EP6 - I believe) On my car, certain engine components are actually "forged" (aluminium pistons, strengthened conrods and reinforced retaining bolts) from factory by Peugeot Sport. The Engines (in this application) are very reliable, with little to no/very few reported issues when it comes to engine reliability (amongst the owners groups, forums etc) - with many owners frequently using their cars on track (both stock and modified cars) Most people looking to purchase one (myself included prior to purchasing mine) ask the same questions linked to engine reliability, maintenance costs etc. in the owners groups. The main/most common things mentioned when it comes to reliability & maintenance (on the "by Peugeot Sport" 308 GTI's) is 1. The expensive factory fitted front discs (4 pot calipers, 380mm front discs from factory) - thankfully aftermarket/more cost effective options are available 2. The 4 pot brake calliper pistons (which are prone to corrosion) - again aftermarket/better performing are available & 3. Which gearbox/lsd oil is the correct type to use... due to the 308 GTI's (by Peugeot Sport's) also having a mechanical/plated LSD from factory - (which requires specific gearbox/lsd oil to be used/ changed at intervals) During my ownership and the time spent in the group, I've yet to see another owner mention, post or comment about the engine's not being reliable and/or failing... Anyway, the point I'm trying to make being... The engine is (in this application) as reliable as any other hot hatch/ "performance" car.

Hi, great tutorial but you have to bring your prices down man that's the door speakers and now these subwoofers I've bought somewhere else because they were significantly cheaper (around £60.00 saved on all four) for exact same units. Shame really.
