Is this a safe map for the JCW , seen the odd post here and there about engine failure from pistons going through the block or scoring.

Yes our remaps are safe. We do not push these engines too far. The JCW is safer to remap than the Cooper S due to the pistons being a lower compression ratio.

@@lohenmini I was wondering that, as I knew that both compression ratios were lower and the sidewalls were reinforced but I was still worried that longevity would still be affected massively.

Can you advise on what the safe performance figures are for a standard cooper s. Without any changes to the internals? Ive got a stage 1 remap with a claimed 250 bhp. Thanks

I have a JCW 2016 F56, what mods did u have to install to reach 313hp? I’m debating on getting a high flow downpipe and a high flow intercooler. What do you suggest? I currently have a jcw pro exhaust, nm pwr mod, and nm intake.

Hi You just need a performance panel filter, downpipe and intercooler along with a Manic Stage 2 Remap

How does the automatic transmission handle this torque??

For the auto boxes we do not usually take it past 440 Nm of torque.

Sorry, this is not something we record. Road conditions and what tyres your running make a big difference. Due to it being front wheel drive, your main difference are pulls from a rolling start.

No, our dyno is a 4WD dyno so all wheels move
