The Mark IV does have that wobble going on so in this video I show how to fix that: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hp-Eh8Jz0JzSd6c.htmlsi=d3_9py6jPtQQeCGc I also have the custom recoil rod and spring set in there as well and adjust the spring according to the ammo I shoot.

That is a good thought, you can after round 2, as that is when people break for lunch during the competition. However, there is only a 3 minute prep period between rounds in which you are allowed to handle your gun. This is for the local competitions though, if it would be a larger competition they are not going to let you touch your gun minus the 3 minute prep period at all once the gun has been checked in. This is to prevent people from cheating.

Eley Prime is a Aguila brand and it generally refers to the primers being used these days. So it's an Aguila bullet with an Eley primer is how I understand it.

Better to use polish paste like IOSSO BORE CLEANER and do not use any Dremel tool. Use original Bolt and push-poll technic. Lubricate the Bolt with the paste, 10-20 movements and clean/lubricate Bolt again. Few steps and we're done. 5 minutes work maximum. Using Bolt you can polish actual surface that is in contact with barrel's frame, nothing else impacted. "Ideal" polishing is not good - oil need some micro dents etc to keep holding.

What you have done here certainly helps. For me I found the issue to be the magazine, but more so due to burrs in the track for the thumb stud. This greatly increased friction on the thumb stud and made feeding of the next round inconsistent. Getting rid of those burrs and polishing the contact areas between the thumb stud and magazine greatly improved performance.
@BallistiXPro
@BallistiXPro 16 күн бұрын
The magazine finished it off for me, but yes, it does improve how the bullets feed, mostly by changing the angle at which they feed. I am not sure the polishing does anything more than give you a visual cue that the mag has been modified so you can see it more quickly vs an old one maybe, but yeah I polished the top of mine as well. Don't round those corners too much though, if you grind too much off instead of fixing the problem you cause the problem in reverse as the angle of the feed will be too steep.
@dogman_
@dogman_ 17 күн бұрын
Did you also mod the magazines? It's a really simple process.
@BallistiXPro
@BallistiXPro 17 күн бұрын
@dogman_ yes, that is in one of the later videos. It changes the angle in which the bullets feed and ultimately finishes the fix to the jamming problem. The inner upper receiver and bolt still need polished as well though, otherwise you get gunpowder buildup on the bolt and inside the upper receiver which slows down the action and throws the timing off for the extractor to work efficiently. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oNmHgsd01tO4ip8.htmlsi=UVFnl3KEBK1-FIcd

To a point, you can buy more accuracy...that is true...we're old Fudds, and don't sweat the size of our groups with any firearm, but i do appreciate the folks committed to accuracy, they do a service for all shooters...finishing my point, eventually you arrive at extremely diminished returns for the money spent, a $5,000 gun probably just as accurate as a $15,000 gun (within a hundredth of an inch?)...it's all good...

@JohnPublic-dk7zd
@JohnPublic-dk7zd 16 күн бұрын
@@user-fi9jg7vh8g you may be correct, but as old fudds we are stuck with stock triggers ($200 is a fortune when you're on fixed income)...I do believe some firearms are just inherently more accurate than other as manufactured, but oddly there can be an old cheapo that shoots lights out just because it was charmed when made, and on very rare occasion an expensive built firearm will never be ultimately accurate...our collection is not amazing for accuracy, but the guns do go bang on demand, which will have to suffice for us...and, perversely, there IS something fun about hitting 4 inch targets at 100 yards only about a quarter of the time with a cheap gun, cheap scope, and cheap ammo...
@BallistiXPro
@BallistiXPro 16 күн бұрын
@JohnPublic-dk7zd I hear you brother. Truth be told most guns are more accurate than the shooter. We just adjust the gun to make it accommodate us, and it allows us to control it with greater ease. Keep on shooting, cheep, or expensive the fun rating is the exact same. 😁
@user-fi9jg7vh8g
@user-fi9jg7vh8g 16 күн бұрын
@@JohnPublic-dk7zd We're talking about pistols which we shoot from stand position hands only, no any support. Even very bad pistol will shoot from fixed stand groups maximum 2 inches at 50 yards. And that almost impossible to do without any support by 2 hands or one hand only. So, how critical is barrel accuracy? I'd say ~5% and even less, may be. But wrong trigger or bad habits can dissipate your group to 10 inches or more easily. No accuracy difference for 4" vs 6" inches barrels if use red dot, for example. so?

Can you shoot it with the rail off?
@BallistiXPro
@BallistiXPro 28 күн бұрын
That version of the revolver you can not. The rail is used as part of the rear sites. So if you want to use iron sites the rear of the picatinny rail has the rear site built into it. However, they do make different versions of the gun and they do sell version that do not have the rail on it and just have the regular rear site. That sounds like it would be the way to go for you if you did like that particular revolver.

Does a president infringe or protect your 2A rights? Too me, it seems like legislation passes laws that fetter access to arms, and judges that strike these laws down. If you care about the 2A care about the judges you vote for.
@BallistiXPro
@BallistiXPro Ай бұрын
The 2nd Amendment is protected on the Federal Level or least it should be since it is part of the constitution. Therefore no State or part of the US can overrule it. Supreme Court Judges and all other Federal Judges are appointed by the President of the United States and then confirmed by the Senate. So it is crucial that a President gets elected that will support the Second Amendment, especially now with everything that is going on in the world. It is really crazy out there and the media tries to sweep a lot of it under the rug. The other part of this is that some States even appoint Judges as well. Others elect them, so not all people get a say in which judges get elected in their own States.

Wires dont exist in real life.
@BallistiXPro
@BallistiXPro 2 ай бұрын
In real like if you have not practiced your draw you might as well not carry your gun. This is for practice. Most situations in real life give you 0.7 seconds before the first shot is fired. Thus you better practice your draw and shoot from multiple directions.

@@BallistiXPro yea, but... You shouldn't really take your eye or concentration off center mass.. Grew up around guns, infantry 12 years in the 82nd, and still shoot, and I've never heard anything like this. Train like you fight, right? This is trying to reinvent the wheel.
@BallistiXPro
@BallistiXPro 2 ай бұрын
@@mrtophat12 So if you were in the infantry you would know that the gun techniques they teach you today are not the same they tough 50 years ago. That is a fact. Center Mass, Heck yeah, this is just an easy way while at the range to find center mass. If you train like you fight then you would get kicked out of the range. I don't know about you, but your going to start with your gun in the holster correct? At the range you can't quick draw an then unload your clip, your out if you do that. The range is used for honing in your skills. If you practice for real life I've never seen a person with an "X" on them surrounded by circles so you can get on center mass easier. So based on what you said, no one should ever use a target with marking on them because that is not real life and a waste of time. So we should go by photos of people holding guns? That can be quite expensive. Pointing out flaws is easy and nothing is perfect but I made this video to help people and genuinely believe it will.

In real life you on average have 0.7 seconds before the first shot is fired. My advice to anyone practicing for real life and not competition is to practice your draw. Otherwise leave your gun at home. I can create a video on doing a quick draw and hitting the target for a real life situation. The video I did is more for practicing at the range for competitions.
