I finished word of honor several days ago after rewatching untamed. And I still can't start any other drama till now. Why is it so hard to get over?

Nice video. One little thing though, 倚天屠龙记 is not new, it's the third part of the Condor Trilogy by Jin Yong. It's been less adapted than the other parts but it does have adaptations from the 70s and 80s.

Anyone read the book? I was gutted by the ending! First they kill Ah Xiang and Wei Ning! They couldn’t give us the dang wedding at least! Then they’re going to imply WKX dies! 😒 I’ll read the book if there’s a happy ending but I’m not watching the series again knowing how it ended 😢 Also, Chinese censorship really did a number on the actors! It’s wrong one is still blacklisted

Wow that was what I loved about the writer. Ingenious writing and even when you were describing them it made me cry for some reason. It reminded me that our names could be tied up to our fate or to our personality. I love Xie Lian and Wind Master even more!

I believe is happy ending, I been watch 6 times in this series the last just finished last week and on Netflix they cut the episode 37 like you told only a couple minutes. But watch on Viki the full episodes. Why I m watching 6 times? I just missed Zhang Zhehan hope he can acting again.

I think there was also a scene when ,zzx was drinking and the amethyst fiend joined him and she asks him how he could drink something like that considering how bad it tasted but because of the seven nails , i thought he'd already lost his sense of taste , idk though , maybe he liked drinking butter wine 🗿, never tasted wine myself so idk 🤷♀️

I'm the one person that loves historical chinese drama, but doesn't like wuxia or xianxia. It's basically impossible to find anything to watch. It's great. 😪

I don't know if you are still active but I have a question. Does 天地 (tiān dì) mean the universe? If it is, is it referring to the physical matter of the universe (space) or its totality (space and time)? If it refers to just the physical matter of the universe then what hanzi is used to refer to its totality? 宇宙 (yǔ zhòu)?

Good question! 天地 I would say refers to the physical world (Heaven and the underworld included) but excludes the concept of time I would say. 天地 is also used sort of as a personified version of the world, like 天地为证。。。, the heaven and earth as witnesses... 宇宙I would say we use it more as a noun when we want to refer to the whole universe including the concept of time. Hope that helps

Definitely a happy ending. As a non-Chinese speaker watching the show with subs, however, I really couldn't keep up with the explanations of how the process worked, and I was like, does WKX think he's sacrificing his LIFE for ZZS right now? doesn't he know ZZS would want to die because of that, and didn't he know ZZS was in the state he was because he already basically did that after he THOUGHT WKX died before? it took a lot of reading things online and watching these videos to actually interpret the last episode and bonus clip. (I just recently watched this, I know I'm late to the game). I LOVEd this show, but I think towards the end the budget issues really showed with pacing and, well, I think the WKX fake death plot was super out of character for him at that time, at least regarding him not telling ZZS.

Thank you so much for letting me see the ep 37. I want to believe that after having a literal emotion rolercoster and crying on 5 last episodes Zhou Zishou and Wen Kexing get a happy ending. They deserve it
