I've been travelling to Japan for the last three years, and every time I try to explore other hotel offerings, I keep coming back to this one. The Good: - The main stop of three different train lines in Tokyo are literally right across the street. There are hotels near other subway stops around Akihabara. Then again, you only get one type of train line vs Washington's three. - It's the third nearest hotel to the stations with the Remm and JR East Hotels being directly above/beside them. Washington is literally just a pedestrian crosswalk further from the other two. - As of writing, it's cheaper than the two hotels mentioned above and yet it's only 20 to 40usd higher(per night) compared to the rest of the hotels in Akihabara which are a bit farther from the main stop. You may find that spending extra bucks will be worth it. Check out Google Maps to see what I mean. - It's one of the more spacious hotel rooms you can get in the area - It's quiet - Bathroom is spacious too. The Average: - It has a slightly dated/muted interior design. It's originally a business hotel after all. - TV can use a bit more entertainment choices. - Pillows can be fluffier (but you can always ask for more at the front desk. - Breakfast choices are mid - Wifi could be faster (by Japan's standards) Again, there are cheaper options around Akihabara, but I personally find this to be the sweet spot for price and convenience.

Should I try to get there when they open? I'm renting a car to drive there...I noticed with trains it looked like I could only get there by maybe 11 or noon if I took the earliest one. I'm going at the end of the month during "peak" bloom. I'm excited about it. Also, if I don't explore the ferris wheel and just do the flowers is 3 hours enough time to see everything?
