Great information. Is there any cell phone coverage on the trail or at the hot springs?

You might want to be upstream of kids, kids need to use the bathroom often. I see no bathrooms outside of the creek.

I’ve been going there since I was 16 years old. I’m now 65. There’s another route in as well. Bohen Ranch is probably the easiest but the other way is from a parking lot just before you get to the bridge going into big bear but it’s a lot prettier not quite as hot, but a little more strenuous.

Just did the hike yesterday. it's beautiful but warning you have to be healthy to walk this trail as its very steep in many places and takes a lot longer to hike then most have been lead to believe and it's easy to get lost on it and there's lots of lizard and snake activity there. Surprised no one got hurt falling down or bitten by a rattle snake

@@hikeronatrail I ran into one of the locals there named Jack who forbid me from filming him and asked me not to post on social media about this place. I guess he fears that this place may turn into a dumping ground and end up getting privatized and commercialized

How many ways to access the hot springs, and pls. Which one is the best route
@hikeronatrail14 күн бұрын
The best one I found is this one, I'm ok paying $10 entrance fee. The free route was a lotttt loner, and with the heat I'd rather just pay the $10, if u do find shorter one lmk

You went to the wrong "camp site". They are trying to commercialize the Hot Springs. Screw them. When you get to the Y in the road, turn LEFT and go to the Bowen Ranch.It's an old cabin and pay the owner, Mike, $5 for the day. $10 to camp. When you get to the Hot Springs. Get NAKED. Don't be shy. No one cares what you look like. Enjoy Deep Creek Hot Springs NAKED. Bring a few ladies with you too. Have fun. Watch out for rattlesnakes. They won't bother you if you don't bother them.
