There is one bright side to being stuck in Yokota AFB…it wasn’t Andersen AFB Guam…THAT would have been a real disaster. Commercial flights from Guam are NO JOKE expensive.😮

We've never traveled during PCS season but had difficulty trying to catch a flight out of Ramstein late December. Lucky, a C-5 showed up heading to Dover AFB. Perfect !!!!! Got home in time for Christmas with the family.

LOL, we were trying to get back to Washington State from Guam, we gambled going to Okinawa on a Marine C130 to maybe catch a flight to Alaska, noticed there were flights to Alaska, then short commercial flight to Washington. We got stuck in Okinawa for 3 days, eventually did make it to Alaska on a C5. That was an adventure for the wife, she's never flown in a military aircraft before, she experienced flying on a AF C17, USMC C130 and AF C5.

Yes Cliff your points are absolutely correct. I’ve seen those frustrated passengers in the terminal. However as you said often times they didn’t follow up with the passenger terminal personnel on their status or missed the announcements. Thanks for sharing ✌🏾

I would like to share something that happened. While on active duty I was travelling Space A to Camp Zama Japan. In Guam we made it all the way to the point of being outside on the tarmac. The only thing left was the safety brief. Well we got bumped for unknown reasons. I looked directly in the pilots eyes in the cockpit and he was just looking at me and my family. Anyways unless you are in the air you are good!

Cliff my brother you are a genius about Space A travel. I’ve traveled a lot on Space A out of Travis. My preferred destination is Hickam which I never have a problem getting there or back. Thanks for sharing your videos I really enjoy them. I’m a Space A junky 😂✌🏾.

In all my years, in AMC (MAC), never did Space A travel. We sure carried a lot of space A pax however in the old C-141B days and C-17. My first base, Norton with the old 807 mission. Did that a lot way back then. I could tell some stories about Clark or nearby but I won't. As a retiree, I would not even consider it. Much easy to fly commercial. I can't recall the last time I was on a military installation. Maybe around 2015 there about. It is completely alien to me an a gym that I frequent, a lot of USAF types there but completely unrecognizable compared to when I was in. A whole lot of ink and a whole lot of muscle. The days of the bad combover, fat bellies and birth control glasses are long gone. Look at how fancy the Travis PAX terminal is these days. No clouds of tobacco smoke.

Just be careful I was just scammed out of 2500 dollars. They pretended to be a loan company they had their own website and loan forms to sign. Also in one call from my bank they scammed. Being retired on disability. Please be careful

Been wondering about the 100% and dependent travel. Some sites says yes and others veteran only. Your the first to confirm, at least on video, that dependents of t&p can travel👍

I know the feeling the Only Veterans Medical Clinic outside the US is in Manila, even if you’re 100% no medical services provided unless on FMP Foreign Medical Program which is not accepted here, by most hospitals or local physicians, they claim too long to get paid, thus we have to pay for all services surgeries etc out of pocket first then try to get reimbursed for our money back. And we have no FMP Representative here and there is 50,000 Veterans living on the many Islands in Philippines. Many letters and emails sent to Congressman, Senators, VA, and Veterans organizations who state no budget for Veterans living overseas except service connected injuries, but we cant get local facilities to accept Foreign Medical Program. Any have advice,?except leave your Philippine family and move back to US

What about from Foreign like Philippines I would love to be able to fly out of the Philippines m, and be most happy to pay from Guam or Hawaii back to Philippines.

Where do you park your car while traveling Space A? I live in GA but may have to drive to another state to catch a flight, and there is no telling how long I will travel.

Can you please help me? I have done research but still confused. I am 100% disabled veteran P&T. Can my spouse and children use Space A Travel as well? I’m in CA only 1.5 hours from Travis Air Force Base. I would love to take advantage of Space A Travel but still unsure how to.

Im glad you posted this video im in the air force currently working under hickam amc alot of passengers don't know of the regulations we have to follow and this can help provide clarity as to why we occasionally have to deny a passengers travel very useful information 👍
