It's absolutely pathetic behaviour from Leighton getting involved in match fixing in this mickey mouse modus league. Fixing is endemic in modus, the only reason why modus even exists really is because of gambling. The DRA needs to come down stronger on this as it is happening far too frequently. If this behaviour continues in this modus league, the DRA should consider shutting them down unless they can somehow put in measures to stop this from happening. The integrity of the sport must always come first.

I’m a big darts fan and I have played in a number of different leagues against some good and not so good players. Even on their worst day, they don’t consistently miss like that. His reaction says it all. He gets what he deserves.

Definitely odd that he nails the 60 then we are supposed to believe that he only then starts choking so badly that his darts aren’t even in the vicinity of the target. But it seems these guys are good enough where they can purposefully miss without it being so obvious.

He’s young and not a top level player. We can convince ourselves of anything if we want to. Innocent until absolute proof of guilt . I see none that’s conclusive

Trying to miss much closer than he did is actually quite difficult. It’s a game of precision but also feel/judgement/luck so if he aimed too close to the double, there’s a good chance he would have hit it.

Back in the old days, I use to think Humphries was the worst player ever. Looking back on it now, I was wrong(thankfully). He won so many euro pro tours. Bad luck had got him back in the day. But he’s proved himself a bit now. Once he started winning his first major, I started to like. But when I found out he was a Leeds man, I gained a lot of respect towards him. But asides from that, a good darts player.

Because it's only the fifth most valuable spot on the board (50), behind treble 20(60), treble 19 (57), treble 18 (54) and treble 17 (51). It's also the hardest part to hit, due to the surface area being the smallest, so if it's not needed you would try to avoid it. Although it is the highest double on the board and you have to finish a leg on a double, so when there's no other choice they will go for the bull.

The outside rim are double of the number above The white/black are single of the number above The inner rim is triple the number above The middle circle(red) is the bullseye(50) the outer bullseye (green) is 25 You get three darts a go You have to finish on a double or a bullseye(only red)
