In the video you don’t mention adding the yeast or the sugar…. Almost didn’t add it to my dough would have been a disaster… proper instructions are important! I added the salt before the yeast and sugar I hope it will still work for me. I have tried to make mhajeb many times for my husband and the dough always fails me.

I don't know how to bring the people of Algeria into the riches of Morocco that close the gate between Maroc and Algeria. Come with the tags that connect the sugar and the salé, the couscous in the corner of Ghazal, and all the tags. , caftans, djellaba and salons in Maroc Il'attribue to Algérie, and I see Algériennes fair in Marocaines recettes, and it says that Algérienne has come to Algeria and that it has sold Algérienne to other people.

Shame shame on you ! Tagine is outlet Moroccan not north africain . You do not dare say the name Morocco !! When it come to Algerian food in you videos , you gave it name Alherian , and when its tagine or Mssanen with a Moroccan the a la Menthe , you called it North African !! Not Moroccan !! Hatred and inferiority complex. You can ´t make or change the history by stealing others heritage ! Everybody knows your history ! No heritage nor identity ! Ask your grand mothers ! Fortunately there is archives from your national channels . That everything is pure Moroccan ( spices - caftan - tagine - zelij and many many ! You can’t build a fake identity . Stay with . سكران طايح في الدروج / القاضي وجماعتو and other wierd names !!

This question is alittle off your vid, but still has to do with clay cooking. I recently bought a clay bread baking pan (top not glazed/bottom only glazed inside) Bread baking instructions indicate to pre-heat oven before putting pan w/bread in; but clay baking indicates to put clay vessel in cold oven to pre-heat. Nowwhat do I do?

Tagine is not North African, it's simply Moroccan, yet another pathetic try by algerians to claim Moroccan shit, everything magicaly one day stops being Moroccana and starts being "North African" as if we didn't have very different 600years of history and culture, we were not the same ppl not did we have the same history nor did we live in the same state for over 600years. hence not everything Moroccan is necessarly "north african" amogst that is the Tagine, in Tunesia the Tagine is a very different thing, it's a pasta thing, the tagine doesn't exist in Algeria at all, except in some places in western algeria and all of them come from Morocco. FFS, they do this with everything, every fking snigle thing, even the super localised things special to just once city in Morocco, if they see it they'll label it "north African" and after 2 years by the powers of sidhom teboun it magicaly becomes "Algerian"

Hi, thank you for the helpful video. The first part of the treatment - cold water + oiling - this is to be done once, just before I am about to use the tagine for the first time, or before each cooking?

Tajine (and not tadjine lol) is a Moroccan, not North African. Tajine in Tunisian means a quiche omelet and Algerians dont cook in tajine. TAJINE IS MOROCCAN STOP STEALING MOROCCANS

You're not Algerian lmao. you're just a bitter Moroccan who wants to claim shared North African heritage as solely your own. It's pathetic. The oldest known tajine was found in Algeria not Morocco.

Why are we taking glazed pots and seasoning them like they’re unglazed.. 100% pointless to do any of this… litterly isn’t absorbing anything by doing any of this.

I had this bread in rural Morocco in 1974. It was a lot darker and I don't think there was wheat flour available, same with yeast. I think it was barley flour, salt and water - maybe some sourdough starter.
