You're not really towing 17k pounds. 17k is your gross weight, you're actually towing just under 8k pounds

at 1400 per day and the speed you are moving, it would cost about 2800 to grind up a Christmas tree!!

I have a 2500, same year,motor trans. 60/82 turbo. I tow 13,500lb (scrap metal) from time to time. Looks like your truck handles that ok. My truck will struggle a little. 43% throttle to hold 60 mph up a steep grade (also making 38psi boost). I typically weight in at 20,000-21,000 lb truck-trailer-load.

How much was that mulcher?
@Wookinpanub235Ай бұрын
Thats a really nice rig. I Missed out on getting one for 10-k but someone beat me to it. I ended up getting a 99 2500 With a service body and a tommy lift gare. Has almost 500-k miles , needs a rebuild and the 47 RE is tempermemtal like PMS temper-mental so I have a NV 4500 set up on a pallet waiting to be mated to my rebuilt 24 valve. Im runnjng a P pump on my 24 valve.

One of the best looking trucks out there!
@ChargerusPrime3 ай бұрын
Gonna find me one of these some day. From what it looks like, these trucks are actually smaller than the modern ram 3500s and even smaller than today's 2500s. These things are also great on fuel surprisingly enough, at least in my case, I drive a lot for work.

Is the half pad a custom made shape? I’ve got an English shaped gel half pad covered with sheepskin under my saddle. It raises the saddle up quite a bit but seems to fill in any gaps between the saddle and the blanket

whats the kit to run leaf springs on a 2wd?
@eternalbeing33394 ай бұрын
Install a sump ($30 ebay) and replace the fuel lines with rubber ones ($60 ebay). Made a big difference on my 12 valve. Started up instantly afterwards.
@Fun-under-the-hood4 ай бұрын
This is why you do this stuff yourself. Never bring your truck to a mechanic shop. Guarantee it every guy working there for minimum wage doesn't give a flying F about your stupid clutch bolt pattern or torque spec.

Drum style mulcher chews through the thick stuff better than the rotary cutter but doesn't mow grass as well and can get wrapped up badly with wire or tarps throw in the woods. Looks like there more pepper trees there as well.
@floridafenceland11374 ай бұрын
Yeah agreed although I had my brush cutter get wrapped up really bad a few times and yes the property owner did not want it totally cleared just enough to put a fence through it

I don't want to be too critical of this video. However, prolly watch these things to see how to put something together. The time lapse doesn't work for this purpose.
