Writing saves my life every day. It's become my number one way to heal. Putting pen to paper (or fingers to keys), allows me to untangle the knots of worry and confusion that build up inside. Every written word is a weight lifted, a burden released. It offers me a safe space.

This video came at the right time, really needed to hear this right now. It's so easy to get stuck because of fear and overthinking and we easily end up not making any decisions. Still around stage 2 or stage 3, and also battling self doubt that always creeps in. Thank you for sharing this ❤

Love this!! Reminds me that life truly is what you make of it, social media is what you make of it! We have the ability to shift our view on things. Reminds me of the quote “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as WE are”

This is amazing! Though I’ve been following your channel for years I’d never really listened to your music before. I want to thank you so much for sharing this, cause it gave me a lot . I got so much value out of listening to your music and noticing how you express yourself through your lyrics. The affinity between what you talk about in your videos and your music is crazy, and to me, it shows your courage and determination to be yourself authentically. It takes a lot to be able to be vulnerable in such a way and to expose yourself so as to be in alliance with who you truly are, at the same time offering others a template for how to do that. To me, being a musician means showing up for yourself consistently and, dat the same time, embracing your creative self and allowing her to be who she really is. When I make music, I get to be playful, creative, experimental, I get to let my inner child be who she wants to be. That to me is invaluable and it counteracts for all of the difficulties and effort. The biggest difficulty for me at the moment is how hard it is to make a living out of music. Having to work different jobs to make an income can be distracting and draining and art requires a lot of energy! Your music is precious and wherever you are musically right now, seeing this side of you and witnessing you being your authentic through a different medium was so inspiring! This is what art is all about!

I'm currently working with a therapist to heal from my past traumas. A lot of what you both discussed on your podcast resonates with me. I just ordered your book and hope it will help me connect with myself better and bring up meaningful topics to discuss with my therapist. To whoever is reading this comment, I wish you a beautiful life and hope you become the best version of yourself.

Great video Aileen!!! I loved how you placed the stage of giving back at the top of the ladder. As a school teacher I feel so much pressure to give back when I don't receive enough. This was a good reminder that giving and receiving need to be proportional. Also, as a person who is motivated by doing things for others, this really helped me with understanding that the more you have, the more you can give, helping me restructure my attitude towards money and wealth. And it's so motivating for someone like me! ❤

Loved the episode!! I think I truly agree with the advice that you should find your own tool to treat yourself, everyone has different tools to make the mind calm, to release the stress. Also, embrace the change. Life is never straight there are small certain changes happening and we should appreciate it! And the rest will fall under. Always follow and enjoy your inner joy✨ Thank you for this conversation Aileen! It's really very helpful! Loads of Love! 🫶🏻

A lovely interview. Tho disappointed to see you pushing Better Help after all the issues with them have surfaced. Them selling patients data, not vetted therapists, no accountability for bad or negligence from a therapist matched with someone. Lack of mental health care IS a problem but Better Help seems to take advantage of patients during vulnerable times to just make easy money with lack of support or accountability
