I don’t think China will invade Taiwan because it’s a losing proposition for them and hundreds of millions of Chinese will die. China would be committing suicide if they attacked Taiwan bringing in essentially Asian NATO into the War as US, Japan, SK, Phillipines, Australia, Vietnam etc all would have serious interests in seeing China fail.. Not only would raise the US raze all of Chinas first tier cities to the ground starting with Beijing n Shenzhen, but China imports EVERYTHING from food/fertilizer to feed their people to energy, chips/tech and oil needs to power their economy . The USA Would simply install a blockade out of range of Chinas missiles and China would collapse, within 6 months 500M would starve to death.
