Man I cloned my OG ally when I upgraded to the X. Now the new one works great but I can’t update windows. I get a install error. Do you think this is related?

Is there a method of binding a button on the deck that will pause the ads when they're set to run automatically? I had people watching me wait for quite a long time while i was camping a space and then as soon as someone stumbled into my lair an ad started playing and they missed all the action. I know I can set up the ads 30/60/90 as shown in your clip so would this be the only way to avoid this sort of thing happening in the future?

All I did to fix the issue is I got a new 2.1 hdmi cord which solved the problem, I haven't ran into the issue eversince, I recommend the rocketfish brand which are inexpensive.

Dawn no easy on this hand console only yesterday i was playing n downloading something after its shutdown i on my alloy and voila reboot not loading i tryied cloudmode but the console give it some problem i get logged with my phone i but the bitlocker and avanced after i was having some essue with cloud recovery i was something i made it wrong i grap my pen n instaled a normal windows were its the wifi its not installed them have fond your video but i till do not make when i restart it restarts the windows 11 not the sus one

What if you get an ally with no windows on it at all? What are the steps to take?

You should be able to follow the same steps. The motherboard on the Ally has been flashed with a file that will allow ASUS's Windows 11 image to install. Jump into the BIOS and choose the ASUS Cloud Recovery option. Then follow the rest of the steps. Have fun and thank you for the support!

what benefit did you get from each upgrade? how does ram helped in performance? did it get faster in transfer or anything with M.2 drive?

The RAM has allowed me to install VM's as well as Docker containers. As for the M.2 drives, I ended up installing the NAS's OS on those. In addition, I created an iSCSI drive from my game PC and play my Steam games from the NAS. I'm also able to edit videos with Adobe Premiere via the NAS vs having to store everything on my local system. Overall, the upgrade is working well for me. Thanks for the support!

Havok, I have a gl-sft1200 (opal) router I'm using a 12v conversion for my travel trailer. I also have starlink, I'm using the dishy but not the box (takes too much power to run). I can't seem to find a way to make this setup work for wifi calling, I was able to with the standard starlink setup. HELP me...

From what I understand, you need to use the Starlink modem/router. That is what powers Dishy. At least that is how my Gen 2 Starlink works.

@HAVOK I am using the following to power: 120W 3-in-1 Step Up PoE Injector with Comprehensive Protection for Standard Actuated Starlink. Plusroc waterproov 12v/24v to 5v converter dc-dc step down module power adapter USB type c connector. And the gl-sft1200 as the router.

@IsaacNelson-p6d what I'm saying is you I beleive you still have to use the Starlink Router. The router is what powers the dish and connects to the sattelites. You would then connect the GL.INET to the Starlink Router. Dish plugs into Starlink Router then GL.INET connects wirelessly to Starlink Router. Maybe I'm not understanding what you are trying to do.

@HAVOK I am trying to cut the starlink router out completely. I have power to the dishy, it is what houses the modem. I already have all that hooked up and I have great internet currently. What I can't figure out is why wifi calling won't work with the new router, where it did work with the starlink one.

Wow, I had no idea. From everything I know about Gen 2, you have to use the Starlink router to power the dish and get access. Then you can put the router in bypass mode and use your own router. I learned something new. Sorry I don't have a good answer for you. I hope you find something soon.

If you are on a laptop, you may have to hold an FN key to make the Function keys work. Also, make sure you are not connected to the internet (WiFi etc) when you are installing.

I think it depends on the size of your head/ears. For me, they are on-ear. However, I have a large head and all headphones are on-ear for me. 😂
