They messed that movie up so bad. I get you have to adapt movies to film.but my god it was just a mess. The number of people who have watched the movies and not read the books, they have no Idea who made the Marauder's Map 😑

(spoilers ahead fr people who havent watched the third movie) for me; when i watched the film of prisoner of azkaban, i was so confused when harry became comfortable with sirius right away after it was revealed that pettigrew was the real reason his parents died. i thought the two alongside lupin were gonna have a chat first about what happened between lupin, sirius, peter and james when he was still alive. but for some reason, the next scene just showed sirius and harry becoming best friends or sumn right away. like…???? i havent read the book yet, so sorry. but i hope theres other people who agree with me or can try to correct me on my confusion.

I just realised something. Harry and Ginny’s kiss in the HBP movie… was completely different (the total opposite) from their kiss in the book. Let me explain. 1. In the book, Harry kisses Ginny. Whereas, in the movie, Ginny initiates the kiss. 2. In the book, they kiss in the Gryffindor Common Room in front of EVERYONE. In the movie? They’re all alone in the Room of Requirement when they kiss. 3. In the book, their kiss lasts for what seemed like “several sunlit days” (i.e. a long time), according to Harry. In the movie, their kiss lasted for… a few seconds, I guess? 4. In the book, they share the kiss after Harry enters the Gryffindor Common Room and gets to know that Gryffindor has won the Quidditch Cup. Whereas, in the movie, they kiss while Ginny is… hiding his Half-Blood Prince Potions book in the Room of Requirement? Literally what? 5. After the kiss in the book, Harry and Ginny go out together for a nice, long walk in the Hogwarts grounds, while in the movie, Ginny walks away and Harry stays in the Room of Requirement with his eyes closed… why? Hence proved, the movies COMPLETELY messed up Harry and Ginny’s relationship. They didn’t even portray their kiss correctly, ugh 😭
