Don't worry, I go through a bottle of whiskey per week too. Helps keep the hands steady when painting fine details on my knights. Thank you for this video, I made beautiful grey knights following your instructions. My friends were so impressed with my paint job they couldn't believe I've never done it before. I am no artist, but I felt like one while painting my army.

Did anyone have problems gluing these? I washed them twice, and used Mr. CementS, It didn’t work like it usually does. Also, noticed when removing manufactures mold seams that the plastic seemed softer than usual.

Just got done painting my librarian last night, first mini I've ever painted. Really exited to build and paint the rest. And even more exited to try them out in game.

effectively grey knights were the custodes of 40k for a short wile. technically still the equal of in the story today. but it would be nice to have at least a couple of these now. the 10th ed index is so bland.

See, I like the Iron Warriors, because they’re upfront about what they are. It’s quickly becoming a fact that I’m loving the word bearers as my favorite traitor legion for the simple fact they’re so cartoonishly evil, and evil looks god tier in red.

Hi, I'm just starting grey knights. I know you probably won't see this but can you put all of the paints you used into the description so I can have a list of what I need to buy. I really love how all of you models looks with your paint job. Thanks 👍

This is great inspiration for me! I'm just getting a small Word Bearers force together having collected Iron Warriors for a long time. It was actually the new Possessed Marines kit that made me take the leap, I wanted to paint them, but want to stick to 30K.

Rumor has it, he has been creating a Grey Knight Animated series in conjunction with TTS focus on the GK. He could be the Messiah or Kaldor incarnate.

Hello! Thanks for this video, it is absolutely the best video by far we have in KZfaq about grey knight paint. I just have one question, I’m think in apply a purple wash better than the blue one, what do you think? It’s just to link it with daemon and magic powers, do you think make sense the purple wash or better the blue one?

Question could technique be used with other colors, say gray, red, or even yellow?
@onelastblade39134 ай бұрын
Sure! Yellow would look really cool.

they look great, but not going to lie you’re in the wrong game system to dislike 3d printing, heresy is very unsupported and too expensive, especially if you fancied buying jump packs or extra weapons and stuff- there you’d have to buy a full kit and then not use half of it

at 8:00-8:26 I can relate to so much ahaha 2 fingers of whiskey turns into 3 then into 4 and boom drank more then you thought ahahah especially when you enjoying your hobbies with a nice whiskey.

💯 agreed that wasting time where it’s not needed is silly. Although I would recommend swapping nuln oil for seraphim sepia if you don’t want a grey tone to the shading.

I bought like 6 sprues of the terminator kit (missing the terminator parts ofc) for like 15€ and it was the best choice ! I got so much spears, swords, decorations etc. for my ultramarines ! I definetely recommand this kit for kit bashing even regular space marines

as a regular space marines player (yes, boo me) who loves taking psykers, 10th edition really screwed me over. Granted, I only had one or two per game, but still, losing all of that engaging "oh, I'm going to give these guys these psychic abilities because it'll do this or because it's fluffy and fun," really sucks. 1cp death from the warp is pretty nuts.

Just started the warhammer scene and chose grey knights. These videos are such a help. Wondering though why you build the entire model before painting. Does it not make it a lot harder when the weapons seem to sit across the chest snug? Trying to piece together the weapons and arms is a disaster 😅

Playing the "bad guy" or getting into the "bad guy" is really fun if you do it in a way that you think out of their perspective. John Long Silver said it best in Muppets on treasure Island. - It's how you look at buccaneers that makes them bad or good And I see us as members of a noble brotherhood!

Sick conversion! Highly recommend getting some godhands, even just the pn120. They cut sooo much smoother and the point is nice and fine so you can get in closer to detail, excellent for converting. I can't believe how long i went without them
