Altitude? The twilight-esque lighting is gorgeous on that white Cirrus. I'd love to do 2045 from the air in the family Long-EZ, but wanted to experience this one on the ground with the kids. I'd love to get high enough to really see the shadow as a distinct circle sweeping in over a low cumulus field, not sure if it's feasible though.

Superficially it looks similar to G3x. what can it do that G3x can't? Also some prices suggest it's more expensive than G3, others quite prices like 7k... which is less

I noticed the backup AI also read zero….so was this more a pitot static issue than a Garmin failure?

very interesting upgrade, it is nice to see that the cirrus aircrafts with avidyne, have at least an upgrade option. a few of questions for you can you make the pfd instruments bigger? so they fill the screen width wise. is there a bank angle indicator, on the pfd? also how do you control the autopilot? how about your fuel indicator, are you still using your analogue guage? now big question, what was the labour and the equipment cost? all the best. mo
