It integrates directly with the DFC90 at this time. The video is a bit dated at this point and many firmware revisions have occurred.

Superficially it looks similar to G3x. what can it do that G3x can't? Also some prices suggest it's more expensive than G3, others quite prices like 7k... which is less

very interesting upgrade, it is nice to see that the cirrus aircrafts with avidyne, have at least an upgrade option. a few of questions for you can you make the pfd instruments bigger? so they fill the screen width wise. is there a bank angle indicator, on the pfd? also how do you control the autopilot? how about your fuel indicator, are you still using your analogue guage? now big question, what was the labour and the equipment cost? all the best. mo

I can hopefully answer some of your questions since I do fly aircraft with the g500. There is a bank angle indicator on the g500. The g500 does not have an integrated autopilot so likely he has a separate panel down below that controls the autopilot. The fuel indicator is on the MFD on the engine monitor. I hope that helps :)

I think the 6 pack would decrease my workload tbh… I’m flying my first plane with these avionics tomorrow…. Looks fantastic if you know how to use them.
