Yes the show is terrible, I agree with this whole video, but the Jedi have always been flawed. In the prequels were flawed. They couldn’t past their own “ways” and ego and that’s the reason they lost to papa palps. I don’t think they’re trying to paint the Jedi as bad, the characters just think they are.

Adding a little nuance to the Jedi order that they weren't always so good wouldn't be stupid after all, the Sith came to power because the order failed. But this requires talented people who like Star Wars.

1) I do think plot wise something might be going on where the events of the flashback are some sort of memory manipulation. I don't think we should discount that possibility. 2) Still bad plot, directing, writing, acting etc. I don't understand how you can be given $180 million and the prestige of STAR WARS and then essentially phone in making the show. 3) Diversity is great, no issue with it and honestly the number of idiots acting like the big issue with Star Wars now is the diversity drown out the legit criticism and make it easier to dismiss the actual critiques as just "Racist, sexist, and homophobic fans". Andor so far the best star wars show.

Im not saying this show is very good, im not fully defending it, i see the problems but the hate can be too much sometimes. The nightsisters were also just an only women community with weird magic, people didnt have problem with that. The jedi were never perfect and thats how it should be. As I love George Lucas ideas, they were also dumb sometimes. Lets wait until the show ends then we can decide how good was this overall.

I didn't notice the effects in this movie as I watched it which is not to say I wasn't aware of the effects. Everything onscreen-the effects, the locations-the gorgeous cinematography-the amazing acting - was there to serve the story. And that is where my attention was riveted to; the story. Villeneuve's skill in using all of these tools to pull us in and keep us locked in is amazing. You can see on the screen how much he loves the material and this made me love it, too.
