The oil pump gear will spin and shear the pin just like the damper and the crank gear. You were turning her pretty high with that s400,Check and see if the oil pump gave up I’m super curious. What did rod bearings look like? Come on man you’re killing us, rip her down a little more. What the hell let’s learn what happened without a doubt. If i were you, I'd pull the pan on this engine and replace all the main and cam bearings so that you dont spin the bearings on the new engine.

That’s a great learning point for newer techs. Always diagnose to the root of the problem do not speculate or get caught up thinking because an ending e is known for a problem that it’s always that problem. Diagnose all the way and never skip steps
