I don't know if this is your area of expertise, but from a charity shop I bought a 1963 shilling, stating on a plain piece of paper, that it was struck at the 'on the spot mint' at the Ideal Home Exhibition in 1963. I had a quick Google and saw a photo on the RM site I think, of said mint, but is there any way of finding out if it were as described? I know you love the Royal Mint so may have picked some info up along the way. Thanking you muchly :)

i saw an interesting surprise today, there's a Yu-Gi-Oh trading card out soon with the Mary Rose ship featured on it. likely to avoid copyrights, they changed the name of the card to Flying Mary but the ship looks like the Mary Rose.

I'd love to see how many Shakespeare coins you got over the course of the book. You seem to get them almost every video, often more than one, which seems odd given it's apparently one of the rarer coins.

The Tudor Rose 20p from 1982-2008 Designed by W.Gardner is so much nicer that the new design Good luck finding a dateless 20p from 2008 in general circulation in 2024 EDIT.... Gardner 2008 20p coin... I would hardly call a mintage of 11,900,000 rare.

I can't wait until these vile 1p and 2p coins are finally removed from circulation... I don't think it will be long now.. Everything will be rounded up to the nearest 5p very soon... I suspect this will happen around 2026.
