How did you find going from a Daytona to the fireblade? Did it feel like a massive jump or was it handleable?

It’s only 18 percent faster than my 06 honda cbr 600 . But you have be careful on 1 gear and going past 120 miles hour I was taking it easy on turns only if I know that the intersection was wide than flirted a bit . Turns nice . I had Michelin Power cup. 36.5 rear 35.5 front

I did a wheelie on 1st gear going 20 miles an hour gas only and motorcycle flipped over . I forgot to use my rear brake. The Motorcycle had major damage . Forks . Bent rear wheel hole on rear swing arm Total lost . But I got auto club to pay for the whole motorcycle. I dodge a bullet on motorcycle payment. Mine was red. But I like the white one . Don’t recommend doing a wheelie on just gas on 1st . You have to be wide awake . I just got the motorcycle 7 months ago . Mario. Sunday Night 3/27/22. I miss the motorcycle very much. I had a S C prodject skin on Exhust.

Hi I've owned two blades 929 and then the 2007 I loved the 2007 but wanted to see what the newer one was like, thought it can't be that much better! So test rode a 2012 yesterday and wow it dose everything so much better and easier effortless! My 2007 was geared Down so went like stink but this just goes like f&@k stable handles great and just feels the perfect bike a one hour test ride left me buzzing all day😁 and that's it walked back in shop I'll take it lol. As you say low speeds great, not as bad on the wrists as earlier model, fast as you could want goes like stink! Just can't wait till next week to pick her up and go out and play lol, great reviews as you say it feels perfect package and will be my 3rd blade and by far the best bike I have ridden 😍

I like your review and your approach to riding! I am also thinking of upgrading to this bike. I could do with a few more horses yet I am not intending to rev the hell out of this motor. I class myself as a sensible rider, yes I open it up now and again but I don't rev the hell out of it. I like to look after it because I want it to last me for years. Go for it, you won't regret it.

Do you ever find the Yoshi to be too loud? Do you wear earplugs?
@LawAbidingCitizen0365
@LawAbidingCitizen0365 8 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment Eric. I do try to wear earplugs but often forget to put them in. I wear them more because of the wind noise rather than exhaust. I don't find the Yoshi too noisy at all with the baffle in but I do with it out, I have it in. I think the tone of the exhaust sounds better with it in.

To change between kmp and mph turn on ignition, press the 2 buttons on the dash together until hour number flashes, press bottom (set) button 6 times to scroll through the settings until kph flashes, press top button (sel) once to change to mph then press bottom button once to set. You should now be back at the beginning with time, miles etc displayed.

@Higgy248
@Higgy248 8 жыл бұрын
My Triple was a 2007 so handling on the front wasn't that great.Then there is the wind issue, I ride the TT mountain course all the time so I got battered on the Triple over the mountain. The Blade is more stable on the front and gives you confidence to up the anti. I am middle aged so Im not a record breaker,I love the Blade and have no regrets getting it. Experts say its a bit dated compared with newer sports bikes with all the electronics and a little slower, for me Its faster than I could ever ride it, I rarely touch 10k on the tacho and it blows my mind. I suggest you take a test ride and make your own mind up. Regards.

Anyway your are right bike is smooth smooth smooth don't know how they do their power delivery but you go fast almost without feeling it, it is just there.

***** I am looking at getting that same microphone that you have. The boom microphone that I have is terrible at picking up wind noise, even with it tucked into the cheekpad. I wonder if it will work with the Sena SMH10, or do i plug it in separate from that microphone?
@LawAbidingCitizen0365
@LawAbidingCitizen0365 9 жыл бұрын
Not sure if it will work with the Sena but I'm quite happy with my microphone that came as standard with the drift. I've tried different locations and now I am convinced the shape / style of your helmet and your head inside it affects wind noise more than any other factor.
