My grandfather has a car like this. Its been sitting in a barn since around 2009. The reason it got put in there is because of severe rust in the sidepanels i suppose. It has a special livery on it that i have not seen any other Sunny have, and it has windshield wipers on the headlights. Its also for some reason called 1.6 LX. Not SLX, and i was wondering if you know of any other car that has what i just specified: A special livery and windshield wipers. I am not sure if it is called a livery or paintjob, but it has red stripes on both of the sides of the car, above it saying NISSAN SUNNY, that is on both sides of the car. I have a photograph of it from before it got stored if you wish to see it. What do you reckon the price could be to repair this car? I am too young to legally operate a car though. The car is located in Norway.
@NeilsCarsAviationTravel17 күн бұрын
I believe all cars in Scandinavia had headlamp wipers in the 80s and even 90s as they also had daytime running lights. The main issue these days is getting spares for the Sunny as there aren’t many left. This would have a bit affect on the price to restore.
@errrrrrrrrrrrreaq17 күн бұрын
@@NeilsCarsAviationTravelDoes or did your Sunny require some sort of oil or liquid be added in the fuel tank with the gasoline to function? If so, could you tell me what it is?

Is it lucky that in other countries, they don't get Adblue/DEF at all in their diesel BMWs?
@NeilsCarsAviationTravel21 күн бұрын
What countries do you refer to? All of Europe have Adblue on the later diesels. Some countries don’t have the same emission standards, of the better quality diesel.

Oh dear, the breakfast is now awful, changed everything. Can't ask for what you want, fixed on a silly board. Got one fried egg one sausage. Bacon and one sad toast. No orange juice not even jam for bread. They filled the plate with roast potatoes, I kid you not. Mushrooms were half cooked. No yoghurts or croissants . A tour group got a really good breakfast in a separate area with all the trimmings, visible for all to see. Forget, stay in bed an extra hour and eat on land.

You can’t over fill it as it’s like a fuel tank, once it’s full it will just spill out. Not sure what’s the sensor has to do with the Adblue though.

Interesting to see you didn't disconnect the harness completely. @GeorgeAusters video shows a complete left side disconnect and fold over to the right side of the bay to get the manifold out. How easy was it to remove the manifold with just lifting the modules in the JBox and disconnecting the connectors close to the manifold? I'm going in to swap out the manifold next week as I have the same leak at the swirl flap actuator (why BMW can't let you just change the o-rings is beyond me).

It is a bit harder but wasn’t bad at all. Removing the harness completely can be a pain too.
