Two brilliant players. Gould's version is almost over articulated, and on most days I prefer it. But Schiff has a better feel for the texture.

Yeah for sure. I find that Schiff points out the hidden rhythms in the music and switches between legato and staccato in certain sections to create a bigger effect.

Slow down, practice with a metronome, work on your phrasing.

I agree, but then I'll sound just like every other recording out there. I also just don't dedicate as much time as I'd like towards practice, not a piano major either. Last thing I'd want is to play the same Bach Invention over several months lol

This was my slight arrangement. After this recording I was able to play the right notes.
