The movie isnt the best ever, in retrospect and has some cringey and memey moments. But i genuinely enjoyed watching them when i was younger. They have some unique twists on Vampire and Werewolf stuff. Its cool

Edward couldn’t resist Bella’s scent (although he only feeds on animal blood now which is why his eyes turn gold instead of red) and he can’t read her mind, which is his ability. His eyes turn black when he doesn’t feed. Initially he wanted to bite her, but became obsessed with her. Jessica also plays Princess Poppy in the Trolls franchise.

My favorite ones in the franchise are New Moon and Breaking Dawn Part 2. I have all the movies and I’ve read all the books too so there’s that.

Some* People give this saga a bad rap, they make fun of it. But it was a cultural phenomenon. I read the twilight saga. In HS. But what people forget is stephanie myers wrote with a specific intended audience. Young adults. Teens specifically. It was the height of the vampire craze as well. Its a great series, infact it wasnt just teens who were watching and reading. All around the world adults were too. I got my mom to read the series, she couldnt stop reading one of the books to the point she stayed up essentially all night reading and was mad at me for getting her into it bc she then had to go to work on next to none sleep. I got my aunt to read the series. Then, once the movies were adapted we went to the theater and saw everyone of them together. It was our aunt/niece thing! And that happened all over. Adults loved it too. But now with society not AS into the vampire craze like it was back then, some people who didnt watch it back then, and watch it now, some can be very critical of it. Especially, movie wise people criticized kristen stewarts acting, but clearly the people who do, you know they never read the books. Their told by bella's perspective entirely, and bella is described as awkward, socially and physically uncoordinated. And i think kristen did a wonderful job. Idk i see more reactors watching this movie saga series now years later. And a lot have really liked it. I dont usually see too much criticism or hate, at least from the reactors i follow or who ive searched twilight reactions and watched ones whove reacted to the series. So i hope you keep an open mind, it is and always was geared toward young women. Teens and young 20s. But it caught a lot of attention from older women too. You know the trope girls love a bad guy. A dangerous guy, romanticizing the human/vampire love story. The element of dangee, will he love her enough to not kill her. Shes mortal, fragile. Couldn't win if he would lose control. Ya kno? And i know you could chalk it up to bias, i grew up with it, in my teen years so of course ill have a love for it, nostalgia all that. But ive seen some say now their older thry can see it with different eyes, and its not that i can't. I can see big picture, always have been able to. But its really not as bad as some people make it out to be, maybe it just doesn't appeal to THEM but that doesnt mean ITS bad.
