Quick correction: Denuvo Anti-Tamper IS the DRM. It’s removal means removal of the DRM as well. Now it’s just protected by Steam’s DRM Denuvo Anti-Tamper never actually stopped the game from being modded. Modding the game actually requires patching the executable So all that this means is that the executable isn’t that 500mb bloated file anymore.

It’s also possible that id’s prepping a proper modding sdk for the game. If that happens, they have to make major modifications to their own engine’s editor suite, as well as the base engine for modloading. If they release a modified version of id Studio 7 for us, allowing for things like 100% custom levels for the first time, it makes sense that they want to test it rigorously before releasing. They might also be prepping documentation, or even a tutorial video series on how to use id Studio 7. The list goes on Long story short, this update is gonna be big and a good sendoff before they shift gears completely to DOOM: The Dark Ages Also, big possibility that they release this update on the 5th anniversary of the game.

I never trusted it because there was no response from Mick, and how you can trust it if there is no story from the other side? It is not like I was sure id was evil or something, I just didn't judge based on only one side's story. And even more strange was that they worked just fine on DOOM 2016 and nothing bad happened, so like did they assume Mick for some reason started working WAY worse for no reason? If the treatment and conditions were the same, why would he start working so much worse?

im actually owner of the collectors edition and i value micks work above the works of bethesda to be honest, his mastering is top tier and the best one in whole industry, compare his MASTERING with these talentless hacks in the industry. i got 1kw soundsystem at home and doom really did stand out.

The simplest way to kill it is a trick: it can't enter the center room in the map, and the pole in the middle blocks its rockets, so stand on the other side of it. Your rockets fly over but the cyberdemon's do not.
