This is so confusing...searching low Fodmap foods. Seems that every site contradicts the other. What to believe???

Been told I have IBS. Been told I have diverticulosis after a colonoscopy. When I hear about many symptoms of IBS, I sometimes I can not relate. Do I really have IBS. My pain is not cramping or nausea. I do vomit only because I think maybe it will make me feel better.. My pain is like a rock has landed under my bellybutton or a horse has kicked me in my gut. I get constipated when I have a flare like this but in general I am not constipated. The pain is gnawing and Becky yes, it happens so often and you just want to explode because you feel like no one can even relate to the type of pain you feel or no one can really understand that when a flare happens, you can't even function. When I have a flare up, it is impossible to even sleep. You can not even lie on your side as the feeling of a rock in your gut is like an elephant is sitting on top of it. Is this IBS? My opening statement that when I hear people talk about IBS that many symptoms I don't relate to as I don't cramp or get stomach pain as what many people associate with stomach discomfort. I do also suffer from acid reflux separately. most days I just feel like just discomfort. Hard to explain. Like gas just sits in my colon. When I flare, the touch to my skin is so tender, if I push on it, it extends to all over my abdomen.

Hi, i’m from the United States. I had two grandparents who had breast cancer. My mother's mother died at age 50-ish from breast cancer and my other grandmother, who is my father’s mother had a few and she lived to be 95. Other types of cancer run in my family skin cancer does testicular cancer. The reason why I had this type of seizure is because I had a genetics test done for breast cancer and my next test came back. Good news but I still had a 56% chance that I would develop some type of breast cancer in my lifetime. I double mastectomy and that does help a percentage that 56% chance to go down. And I found two wonderful male plastic surgeons, one that represents breast Cancer and another one that is a plastic surgeon. And I decided to go through a double mastectomy on October 9 last year. I had breast spacers for seven months and then on May 29. I had another procedure to switch from breast spacers to breast implants. So I’ve been healing from that surgery. And I’ve been meaning to want to tell you what’s been going on with me. When I finally got my tubes taken out from my double mastectomy. I thought I just had sensitivity under my armpits and since my second surgery, I’ve been finding that my armpits are a little less sensitive, but I probably have nerve damage then I will be finally getting to see a neurologist to see how damaged my nerves get because of the surgery, and prior to physical therapy. I am so glad that I finally found somebody on the Internet who decided to do a double mastectomy electively. and I just wanna say thank you so much for putting this video out and making me feel less alone sometimes in this decision that I did already do. So thank you for sharing your journey and I would love to hear how you have been since your surgery.

Thank you for this video I have other symptoms but having gas while working around people is just terrible and very embarrassing 😮I started trying to figure what I was eating to cause this ( of course the pain &bloat too)😢 I found out regular yogurt and sweet potatoes were a huge part of my diet I had to say goodbye too and no gas for 2 weeks 🎉 I love yogurt but had to go for a non dairy option and it worked 🎉. The strange part of it is I can eat other dairy but at least I know . I know how hard this is so glad I’m not alone

I'm only 16, started having ibs symptoms since I was 15. It's absolutely terrible, I can barely live my life normally. I stress a lot from school, my flare ups are worse than ever, happened a few times at school, I cried and screamed from the pain in the bathroom, it's really that bad and everyone things I'm exaggerating. Even worse when the pain happens randomly at any given moment, and it hurts so bad that I can barely move, I get cold and hot sweats at the same time, body is shaking like crazy, vomiting happens too and there's no running from it, I can only take it. It's living hell, I feel so bad for everyone out there with this curse.

Thank you very much for sharing your puff pastry GF recipe! - i'm Portuguese living in Brazil and I really appreciated it... I have seen some GF mixes for puff but with sweet rice flour and sorghum, quite difficult to find here. In Portugal we use a lemon peel together with the cinnamon stick and I prefer to boil them with the milk while scalding it, rather than the sugar syrup, but it doesn't matter. The main difference is that most Portuguese recipes I am aware of do thicken the milk and flour mix on the stove, than add the syrup and lastly the egg yolks. I suspect that if one use your method and take the custard to thicken slightly over the stove before baking the end result will be more creamy perhaps.
