Sinner will beat meddy then Alcaraz and Djokovic will be 50-50. Also he will beat Alcaraz only if it’s 4 4 sets max. He has to beat meddy in straights or 4 as well. Once he goes 5 he is screwd

I haven't heard a peep about the official numbers. From what I watched during qualies and now early main draw matches it looks like the courts are playing pretty quick. Currently watching court 11 and 16, the speed of the courts is fairly quick. Hitting super heavy won't be a great strategy here. -Jason Frausto

I believe that Jannik Sinner is too mentally affected by everything surrounding him right now. Additionally, he's nowhere near as strong in best-of-five sets as he is in best-of-three. Therefore, I think we'll see a Djokovic vs. Alcaraz final.

I'm afraid that may not be the case ; unlike previous yrs btw 2020 to end of 23 - the new guns have failed to step up Now in 2024 it's a way different year nd time . Even with easy draws in each slam so far , Djokovic has met his match either before or, in his only final . Same should apply at the US open , his least successful surface I'd pick him to go down well before a final as per the 24 AO. No more slams in 24 for him. Next year, max 1 only - as father time and access to easy draws drys up

pretty good analysis. Djokovic has not been really tested physically during Olympic as the format of the tournament is best of three rather than best of five. I personally think that Djokovic like the other old player might struggle to recover if he has some tough four or five set matches, tough five setters will take longer for older player to recover and might also cause existing physical problem to become more obvious and worsen. Just like FO Djokovic may find himself fighting against a lesser known player in early matches at USO. I think Zverev may come out into the final from the bottom half and win the tournament.

Darren Cahill also coached Halep and Agassi implicated and known to be involved in doping... just saying. If someone gets caught cheating they will pay whatever it takes to make it go away. Clostebol creams are used in doping across all sports to aid in the muscle recovery process and is specifically used as it generally does not show up in blood or urine samples with drug testing. There is a big loophole with clostebol creams as they are widely accessible over the counter in Italy and so the "I used it by mistake" excuse then becomes very hard to prove either way. I say where there is smoke there is fire. If this substance is used to assist muscle recovery and is hard to detect when used as a cream but is on the ban list, then it's easy to assume that Sinner with his sudden dominance and rise to the top of men's tennis at the very least shows signs of an enhanced performance. Sinner's sudden withdrawal from the Olympics also raises more questions and doubt as he came back to fitness almost immediately after his withdrawal. honestsport.substack.com/p/italys-clostebol-doping-crisis-across

Preferential tretman, professionals not "knowing" that creme/spray is doping, history of many italians caught for doping using exactly that creme, also, covering up all this for 5 months while the rest of the players got media harassment, and etc, all this is enough to suspect that Sinner is not that innocent they want us to believe. Secondly, the firm of lawyers who defended Sinner is working at the same time with doping agency who ruled Sinner not guilty, that's a big conflict of interest here, but hay ho, everything is 🍓 and cream according to some here and elsewhere.

My guess is that the athletes knowingly or staff knowingly use this cream for marginal gains, and can blame a positive test result on the cream that is readily available in Italy, and then can blame staff, thus avoiding a ban if good lawyers are imployed...lets have tournament bans for anyone testing positive regardless whos fault it is, let the player come back after say 3 tournaments, strip the player of points from the previous 3 tournaments, then have to pass a test to come back. No appeals just be forced to forego 3 tournaments what ever level the player is at.

Half of the world's doping cases with clostebol come from Italy (mostly justified by the same/similar excuse about the wound healing cream that Janik is exposed to). It is one of the last countries in the world where clostebol is still sold. In Indian Wells, he failed a doping test and was allowed to continue competing. He should be suspended for at least two years and everything he won in 2024 should be taken away.

Halep was unfortunately not able to prove immediately where the forbidden substance came from because it was not on the label. On the contrary Sinner team could quickly understand and prove the contamination. So what was he supposed to do??? Refuse and self-banning himself if he knew he did not take nothing????? Story - Sinner'a physio had a cut on his hand and used this spray/cream. He then proceeded to massage Sinner's foot which had a cut/wound without covering his cut/wound. Wound to wound? Really? And we are aupposed to belive this? And it happened TWICE?😂 Also WADA has published that clostebol is a banned substance and is found in this particular product "Trifodermin" in 2020. 4 effing years ago. So this just leads to just 2 possibilities. A. Sinner and team took clostebol, cycled it and had this cream/spray as an excuse to use when caught or B. Theyre so utterly stupid to not know what substancea to use when it is clearly published on WADA's site. Top players and their teams keep a track of every minute detail about diet, supplements, medication, fitness, recovery etc. Are we to believe they were so clueless to not know about it? Anyone believing this story about his physio using a cream and it spreading to sinner is just a sheep who will accept any garbage explanation cos they dont want to accept that their fav player is doing illegal stuff. And of course the ATP is doing its absolute best to bury this story and make it seem like it was an accidnt. How does an accident happen TWICE? They cant risk his image getting tarnished and viewership going down. They have planned his rivalry with carlos for the next 15+ years. Theyre not going to lose billions. Also hes western european. Nothing will happen. If he was eastern european, he would've been banned as oer their own rules. Hypocrisy and racism at its finest. We've all heard the same BS explanation from every athlete from every sport when thwyre caught. Either its a cream or spray or supllement or some medication. Give me a break. Its okenty clear he and his team used this roid and had a convenient excuse ready that this particular spray caused this.

@@rajeshsmusical different circumstances for different players. If his appeals against suspension had not been upheld, then it would have been made public at that point..obviously he would not have been allowed to play. There are several factors, the amount of the banned substance found, the quick location of the source of the contamination, and, yes, obviously a very good legal team. In Halep's case, there was far more present and over a longer period of time and it took a while to identify where the contamination had come from. Also she still bore some responsibility as she hadn't double checked what she was taking. Same for Sharapova, she hadn't herself checked the banned list. They judge the degree of diligence as well as internationally. In Jannik's case, he could not have known and had taken reasonable steps to avoid this sort of situation. I agree the delay in Halep's and other cases was awful. But it just happened that, in Sinner's case, it was much more straightforward
