Jerry, this is a clear and helpful video, however, these exact headlights don’t work directly on my 1994 Corvette. The resistance of these units is lower than the halogen lamps. As a result, only one will light up unless a load resistor is added to the circuit.

Don\'t forget to take a sharpie and write the date the oil was changed on the oil filter. Also use a label machine, make a label and put it on top of the generator and put the date when the oil was changed.

I bought my C4 Z52 brand new in May of 87. Still have her. I've put 236,000 plus miles on her. Back in the day, Eckler's offered the "Fast pack" then Hypertech offered the stage 1 and 2 chips. When I had all that in, my car could run 13.4's all day at 98mph. You could win a lot of races because they were consistent as Heck! Now, she's in the 11's. New engine, not an L98, nor an LS ;-)! Finally has the power to show what C4's should have been doing the past 40 years!

@@saab6723 Blueprint Long block. They offer 396, 427, and 454 in the L98 configuration. All blocks, pistons, and crank are Forged. 50,000 mile warranty. You can basically bolt on 500 NA HP right out of the gate. I chose to go with a Jim Hall Mini Ram II intake, AFR heads, 58mm TB, 1.75 long tune headers, PA racing trans TH700, and a new Fitech 38351 computer for advanced tuning. The 87 OBD1 just can't handle these radical engines. Next, I'm looking at a blower just to bump the power up to 850. Most cars today are in that 650+ range. I also need to get Wilwood brakes. The old C4's can't handle the new power fast enough. Good luck with your car.

At the car shows you have a few groups presenting, The Old guys, The Young guys, The Rich guys, who can only drive what they buy, and finally the Get Your Hands Dirty guys, along with the various combinations. I find the C4 group is a hybrid of, They know old tech and new tech, don't always have enough $$$ to buy a C7 or 8, and know what dwell or data logging is and can set them. Cheers! Peter
