"Patience. Use the Force. Think. " always felt like such a cheap and uninspired line to me. If you break it down, it makes no sense. It just banality.
@CantinaTalkSW20 минут бұрын
I think it was meant more along the lines of, stop thinking hastly with aggression and rage and take a deep breath and analysis everything around you and come to a conclusion then instead of just doing the first thing your mind thinks of. Idk maybe thats just me

Ewan was the mvp for episodes 1-3. I feel that even Alec would admit that this man embodies the true spirit of Obi Wan. I even loved him in the much criticized Obi Wan series

I always saw Obi more as a brother to Anakin and the Duel of The Fates as a duel over the chosen one being raised by a brother or a proper father figure. I saw the death of Qui-Gon as the thing that leads to Palpatine being the father figure for Anakin.
@CantinaTalkSW47 минут бұрын
I couldn't agree more. Duel of The Fates was more about the fate of the child (Anakin) and who would end up being the one to raise him. Personally, If Qui-Gon lived, I don't think Anakin would've fallen to the dark side.
@TheObserverDMZ15 минут бұрын
that’s cool, however that exact same theory was posted online and got big, this is pretty much just a paraphrase of that theory, so… pretty sure the belief you’ve always had was stolen from that guy a month or two ago.

Do you think Obi-Wan was more of a brother to Anakin then more of the father that he needed? Personally, the father he needed was Qui-Gon. Obi was a brother.

We definitely know that Obi-Wan had a sense of humor and that he was loyal and steadfast but I think Ewan showed us that Obi-Wan was dashing and also heart broken. I could go on and on but that is what sticks out to me quickly.
